Abstract: The stress absorption layer of the rubber asphalt can effectively prevent，postpone and even to stop the reflection crack to form and disseminate． Meanwhile，it has the watertight，filling and cementing function． Therefore，the effect mechanism and the key point of the technical control of stress absorption layer of the rubber asphalt are narrated． And then the paving process and construction essentials of stress absorption layer are introduced in a case study，which provides a reference． Key words: rub
