    Zhang Jie,Zhu Dong-sheng,Zhang Yong-shui,Zeng Jin-ming
    2012, 31(3): 357-361.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-0696.2012.03.01
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1474KB) ( )
The additional mass method of water was used to demonstrate the effect of hydrodynamic pressure on the bridge pier. With the help of ANSYS finite element software,a single pier model was established to analyze the seismic response of the bridge pier in deep water. The results show that the hydrodynamic pressure effect changes the seismic response characters of the pier and increases displacement of pier top and the internal force of pier bottom, and the hydrodynamic pressure role is also connected with structure itself and the cycle. Through actual analysis of continuous bridge and continuous rigidframe bridge, the hydrodynamic pressure function has been connected with structure of the innate cycle. Along with the increase of the innate cycle, the influence of the hydrodynamic pressure on the structure decreases.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (849KB) ( )
The slip effect between steel and concrete in composite beam has an evident contribution to the deformation of the beam. An analytic method was proposed on the basis of elastic theory, considering shearing slip,to calculate the equivalent rigidity for composite beam with arbitrary cross-section. The results show the rules of equivalent rigidity changing from shearing slip and rigidity effects; and the difference value of the rigidity and reduced rigidity when the stud spacing is huge. The composite beam deflection caculated by this method has a good agreement with those obtained from experiment.

    2012, 31(3): 380-384.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-0696.2012.03.07
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1112KB) ( )
Based on the limiting equilibrium theory and elastic-plastic theory, surrounding rock pressure on shallow buried tunnel was calculated by the numerical analysis software ANSYS and FLAC3D. The soil strength parameters should be reduced before calculation, then nodal force was applied in the opposite direction of the gravity on the vault after excavation of tunnel with no-lining; then the nodal force was adjusted to get the limit state of the tunnel destruction, that was,the limit equilibrium. In the calculation, the convergence reflected whether the tunnel was destroyed. The method not only takes into account the speciality of soil material, but also has strict mechanics basis. The calculating result is more coincident with the reality, and this method offers a new way to calculate the surrounding rock pressure on shallow buried tunnel.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (1288KB) ( )
Two culvert centrifuge model tests were accomplished for low embankment on soft foundation. The process of culvert model making and lots of problems were introduced concretely.Culvert models were designed with the necessary simplified means and alternative materials. The composite modulus conversion method was used in model pile design. At the same time, the conversion methods related with road surface and traffic load were considered. The results show that, for low embankment on soft foundation sections, the cement mixing pile composite foundation in culvert can reduce the absolute settlement, but the road surface longitudinal differential settlement increased. For reducing vehicle jump phenomenon and increasing traffic comfort, the culvert design of low embankment on soft foundation should control the uneven settlement primarily and the absolute settlement secondarily.

    2012, 31(3): 528-534.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-0696.2012.03.40
    Abstract ( )   PDF (2887KB) ( )
Based on the TD-GC/MS online technique, the volatiles total ion current chromatogram of poplar powder composites which were formed by warm self-bonding compaction were analyzed at 40 ℃,60 ℃,90 ℃ and 160 ℃. The peak area normalization method was used to identify the retention time and peak area of poplar powder-based composites at each temperature, then the environment friendliness of poplar powder-based composites was evaluated. The results show that in the volatiles of poplar powder-based composites, the beneficial component content is significant higher than that of harmful component at each temperature. The beneficial components are 6 times higher than harmful components at 40 ℃,60 ℃ and 90 ℃,and the corresponding value at 160 ℃ is 29 times,so the environment friendliness is good. The total volatiles kinds, beneficial components kinds and harmful components kinds of poplar powder-based composite are approximately quite to that of poplar raw powder, but the beneficial component content increases evidently and the harmful component content decreases significantly. It shows that not only the warm self-bonding compaction process of poplar powder-based composites have environment friendliness, but also the preparation and application processes are environment friendly.
