    It's the important work for calculating the lofting coordinate of the ring segment for the concrete filled steel tubular arch bridges.The original method,which enlarged the model,took not only long time and many works,but also need a ladge field.The directly method on lofting coordinate by means of plane gemrtry relation may calculating heavily simply the procedure and improve the lofting precise.The formula can also apply to the reinforced concrete arch.Aflow chart was given in this paper for computer program.This method has been successfully introduced in many CFST arch bridges.

    Based on the analysis of the data requirements and following in the highway design ,this discusses the character of engineering databased and plans the architecture structure of highway engineering database. This paper emphasizes on the expanding research of Relational Data Model. Further more ,it constructs the relationship-OOP model as the data model of engineering database. Based on those theorise and the special requests of data marupulation in highway design process, this paper has constructed the standard data query classes, plane engineering classes etc. And by enclosing these classes, the functions of database are expannded effectively and the highway engineering database and high standard database with the functions of real-time query, real-time modification, real-time storage and supporting distributing design has been constructed.

    According to the requirement of bridge engineering , a equivalent element group model of elastoplastic beam is presented . This equivalent eminent group is composed of a beam element and a truss element group. The formulas are deduced according to the load-deformation curve of the elastoplastic beam . This equivalent element group model of elastoplastic beam is used on the piers of a bridge ,and the seismic responses are calculated out.

    Study on pavement performance of different types of asphalt mixtures

    The different gradabon asphalt niixlurie have great influence on pavement performance . The paper uniBzed wheel tracking tist at high temperature, the bend test at low temperture and bend fatigue test to study pavement performance of SMA and large size asphalt mixture (LSM) , and then it is compared with dense gardation asphalt mixture. The results show that modified asphalt can impmve significantly technical performance, SMA and LSM have super pavement performance , the resistance to deformation in high temperture and resistance to fatigue of LSM is bettr than that of SMA , but the performance resistance to crack of SMA at low temperture is better than LSM .

    Based on the test on two typical and original soil sample of the tympanitic road from Nalati to Gongnaisi along G218 in Tianshan Xin-jiang Municipality, authors did the soil's capillary experiment, initiating the capillary coefficient Km. By testing, the capillary coefficient Km is about 10-3cm/s. By contrasting the four condition's, we obtained some useful conclusions , research offer a beneficial way to designing the structure in tyinpanitic region .

    The experience method,such as the hyperbola method, which is often used in the engineering of highway embankment on soft ground , is incompetent for considering the influence of the variation of pretend, so it can't predict the post-construction setdenient of the surcharge pre-loading embankment well . By back-analysing the settlement of an surcharge preloading embankment , this paper fistly get the coefficient of settle-ment and the average coefficient of consolidation. Then utilizing these coefficients as calculation parameters and taking the influence of the sur-charge preload into account, this paper predict the post-construction settlement of an surcharge preloading embankment approximatively.For considering the influence of the surcharge preload, the result of this method is more coincident with the fact than that of the hyperbola method and other experience methods.

    Based on sensitive tests , the author makes the analysis of mathematical statistics among natural unit weight , water content , cohesion and friction angle . The results obvious the relationship of natural unit weight and water displays linear relationship , and go from strength to weak-ness along with adding pressure to the loose earth.C-φ displays distinct didisliner. ω-C-φ of high pressure is physical and mechanics parameters . When the containing water or moisture is from 10% to 13%,the pressure is highest . The increase of the pressure of unsaturated soil is the advance of pressure pammeters in nature . The conclusion in the paper has the important reference value to select the proper pammeters of earth .

    The Xialong shoal, which lies in the upstream of the Hongshui River, is one of the important shoals with the curve and shallow characteristic . Combining with the model test result on waterway regulation for the Xialong shoal, the properties and the ahoal and the conditions of the constructing waterway is analysed in this paper. By adopting such engineering measiues as dredging, cutting the snout of the shoal and exp1oring the reef, the navigation channel is normalized, the navigation depth is increased , the gradient ratio is reduced , and the flow condition is improved.Then the problems obstructing the waterway have been effectively solved. The favourable waterway conditions have been provided for the s1ipping to safely sail.
