    Dangerous rock is one of typical geologic disasters, generally locate at steep and high slope. Dangerous rock mass is rock mass divided by mutisetting structures. Collapse are from unstable and moving dangerous rock mass. On the basis of analysis to a great number of materials about dangerous rock studies, the authors classify these materials in to three parts, i. e. dangerous rock unstable model, stability calculate method and anchor calculate method in this paper. The three parts are analysed in detail in the paper . Based on these studies before the authors ap proach trend to research on dangerous rock in future.

    The analysis and prevention of reflective cracking in asphalt pavement of expreeway

    The reflective cracking is one of the major damages of the asphalt overlay on old roads and sem-irigid pavement, which badly influence the performance of the pavement. In this paper, an analysis of the reflective cracking generation mechanism, including those caused by thermal shrinkage or loading fatigue,was carried out. Then its extending on latitude and longitude direction and its destruction are stated here on the basis of fracture mechanics. Finally, the paper launched out a few new procedures on how to prevent and cure the reflective cracking.

    A series of test are carried out to analyze the characteristics of Marshall stability , high temperature rutting , low temperature crack resistance , water stability , freeze and cleave strength ratio , texture meter , fatigue resistance and skid resistance of bituminous mixtures and denseior to the others .Finally the results show that its life has been prolonged, of better social and economic value , and it is a kind of higher-performance bituminous mixture .

    This paper elected four kinds of skid resistance grades for example AK-16B、SMA-16、OGFC-16 and SAM-16 according as our counrr try skid resistance grade, systematically compare with their high temperature stability, cracking resistance at low temperature, fatigue resistance and water-stability, and their skid resistance performance and the penetrating-water character. It can be reference to application of resistance mix .

    Through analyzing several different computing methods of the theoretical maximum density of bituminous mixtures, the practical measurement method was regarded as the best logical way. At the same time, which aggregate density should be adopted in the caluculating method was recommended and the fact that the effective volume method, which was put forward by the authors, is not onlg able to improve the efficiency of the practical measurement method in bituminous mixtures, design but also satisfies the Precision demand of the theoretical maximum density of bituminous mixtures, was proved by test.

    Asphalt mixture bulk density is an important indictor, which has great effect on compact density and mixture design of asphalt pavement. Based on density definition of asphalt mixture, The paper shows deeply different measuring density methods effect on mixture design and quality control of asphalt pavement.The results show that the application of wax-enveloped method to measure bulk density of asphalt mixture is a fit and reliable, but is needs to pay attention to the detailed requirement of wax-enveloped.

    Compaction plays an important role in controlling quality of qarthfill works , especially with extensive area and considerable thickness of soils.The type of compaction equipment and the number of roller passes are the most important two factors, which influence the maximum dry density of compacted soils .Tests for inspecting of the quality of compacted soil can be conducted in the field and in the laboratory .are two common methods in determining the dry density of compacted soils in the field , and Standard or Modified proctor Test is in common in the laboratory .This papecr focuses mainly on comparison of the test resuts by the three methods mentioned above for a compacted embankment .The field densities are related to the number of roller passes as well as the amount of coarse particles;however , the test results from the Nuclear Density Meter do not show this relationship.

    The four new models, separately production function model, logarithm linearity model, linearity-logarithm model and mixed model including linearity and logar ithm, which are used in analysis of contribution and elasticity of investment in highway construction to economic increasement, are discussed in detail and formulated. From 1980 to 1999, Chinese contribution and elasticity of investment in highway construction to economic increasement are analyzed, and come out the conclusion that investment in highway construction may gain more economic increasing than the investment in other fields.

    The study of spure- dikes protection for subgrade river side

    Spur-dike is a common structure for scour protection of subgrade river side, and spur-dikes are applied usually.The length and separate distance of spur-dikes are important design parameters. The flow pattern and scour law around spur-dikes in the straight and bend channel are studied based on theory analysis and model test, put forward the method to arrange spur-dikes controlled by protection region and scour depth, point out that the 1# spur-dike which is shorter and of half length of others is suitable, and others are same in length. In bend chnnel, the separate distance of spur-dikes should be shorter due to flow pattern and scour law are more complicated, but the method for the straight channel can be consulted to determine separate distance of spur-dikes.The difference between river and model channel are already considered in the method.
