    In this paper, the equation of horizontal applied force which floodwater acts on the bridge constructure is obtained by the momentum equation and the energy equation when the bridge upper constructure is submerged partly or completely by floodwater,and it has been tested and verified by hydraulicmodel test.

    So far, there is a deficiency of analytical approaches to the dynamic stochastic coordinated transportation (DSCT) Problem. Firstly, the advantages of applying the technique of system simulation tosolve DSCT problem are analysed.Then the feasibility of forming DSCT model using Q-GERT simulation system is discussed.This is followed by the presentation of a complete stochastic network model forDSCT problem.

    Simulation of Artificial Ground Motion by AREA Model

    Artificial ground motion is one of the basic forms of structural earthquake input. This paper discusses the characteristics of the normal Tri-angle Series Method mostly used in engineering, and studiesa new method to simulate artificial waves from a new point of view. By discussing the dynamic characteristics and statistical properties of Auto-regressive Moving Average(ARMA) Model applied to analyst time series, the peper presents that it is feasible and convenient to describe engineering ground motion. And then,the parameter identification technique is used to determine parmeters of the model,so as to open up the applied range of the model from simulating an earthquake record to simulating ancertain spectral characteristic. Finally, a new method to simulate artifiCial earthquakes by using ARMAModel and parameter identification technique is presented.Simulating the Standard Response Spectra,the paper indicates the practicallity of the method.

    Seepage in fissured rock mass is quite important and exsisted broadly in seotectrical engineering such as hydraulic electricity.traffic and building construction. Most of stability of slope and dam base and rock mass bearing capacity of building foundation and dam base are influenced and/or controlled by seepage in these media. Numeric analysis and percolating-echanic interaction are disgussed and reviewed in the paper,which are quite important in the course of unloading of a slope or/and a base in rock mass.

    The multiple and highrise building are considered in this paper,the earthquake base shear and bending moment of shear type, shear-bending type and bending type structures on various earthquakeintensities and various sites are analysed by using the modal analysis through response spectrum procedure and time history methods. Based on the comparison of two kinds of results, the simplified methodsof seismic analysis for the three type structures-base shear and base bending-moment methods andthe maximum envelope and formulas of earthquake shear and bending-moment distribution along theheight of the structures are presented in this paper.

    In this paper,based on Earlng probability distribution, freeway vehicle flow are divided into twokinds of following and non-following car’s traffic flows.A great quantity of data is used to check thevalidity of the distribution. The probability density function of non-following headway and formulations of random variables of two kins of traffic flows are deduced.

    This paper describes the general layout and water level division of Three Gorges continous threeflights lock with regulating ponds.Meanwhile the filling time of chambers and ponds during a period of2 minutes opening valves is determined by a special hydraulic model test. It shows from comparing calculated lorkage duration and capeity that the continous three-flights lock with regulating ponds hasmore advantages over the continous five-flights one.

    The value table of P-Ⅲ Distribution is significant for plotting the P-Ⅲ curve.The prensent value table was calculated in 1960, updating it is necessary.Using series formulas instead of integratingmethod, present method saves a lot of CPU time and the results match the results of Mathematical Handbook. Combining the Newtonian Iteration Method and the interpolation iteration method, the degree ofconvergence of value is 10-10.The prsent paper gives some differences between the old value tableand present results. And the Chiners software has been worked out.

    Spur dikes are ofton used in the hydraulis and waterway engineering. Based on a special model teston the velocity and obstructed-discharge distribution change in a non-submorged,orthogonal spur dike,the peper discusses the flow characters around the spue dike are alike to those in blending section. Theresult shows useful to elect an optimum waterway regulation line.

    On the basis of the fatigae performance of the Steel Fibers Concrete(SFRC)and the cause ofstrengthening,this paper discusses the range of the SFRC improving times in subjecting to fatigue load,comparing with concrete in some cedain stress ratio,the volumtric ratio(Vf) and the ratio of lengthdiameter (l/d) have effects on the fatigue life of the SFRC.Thus,this paper proposes the useful lifein designing the SFRC road pavement,providing the reference of designing the SFRC road pavement.
