Abstract: Fairness ,in existence but usually neglected, was introduced into the retailer-dominated buy-back contract. The model was established to study the impact of fairness on the optimal decision of supplier and retailer and the coordination of buy-back contract. The results of analysis show that in the retailer-dominated supply chain the buy-back contract could not reach coordination and is irrelevant to fairness degree of members from supply chain. However, fairness influence the member’s optimal decision of the supply chain. It meant that retailer's optimal order went down with the increase of the fairness of the retailer or supplier,and supplier's optimal wholesale price dropped with the increase of the retailer’s fairness but rose with the increase of the supplier’s fairness.
