Abstract: Based on the analysis of Drac tieal exainplees and the study of vehicle running track,this paper dis-cusses the feasibility and doniii1anct3 of the application of spline to the desi8n of horizontal alignment ofhighway and proposes four important conditions for this,A new recommendation to apply local cubespline to the optimization design of horizontal aligfln1ent of highway is presented.Furthermore,themathematical model and the deeign method are also introduced.

摘要： 本文通过例证分析和对汽车行驶轨迹特性的研究，既从理论与实践两方面阐明了样条曲线应用于公路平面线形设计的可行性和优越性，又进一步阐述应用样条曲线必须具备的４个重要特性；并在此基础上提出了采用局部坐标下三次样条曲线进行公路平面线形优化设计的建议，文中对该方法的数学模型及使用情况也作了简要介绍。
