Abstract: According to the data of Chengdu-Chongqing expressway opening two years, the paper inquires into the influence of expressway on the modernization of social economy of one district or one country. For traffic transportation, the different means have kept keen competitions so as to improve the transportation structures and the technical indexes of highway transportation, and become one key passageway of comprehensive transportation system. For the development of social economy, it has influenced the ideology, sped up person, information and commodity transportation, which has created a better opportunity for promoting efficiency and enlarging production socialization. It is beneficial to assemble the factors of production, improve investment environment, extend opening to the out side and accelerate developing national modernization. The intelligent transportation system has been used to change the life style and improve the life quality in future expressway system.

摘要： 通过成渝高速公路通车两周年的实际资料, 探讨高速公路对一个地区(含国家)社会经济现代化的影响. 对运输业来讲, 引起了各种运输方式的激烈竞争, 改善了运输结构和公路运输的各项指标, 成为综合运输体系中的大通道; 对社会经济发展来讲, 它影响人们思想观念的现代化, 加快了人员、信息和商品的运达速度, 为社会化大生产、提高效率和加速运输创造了条件, 大大有利于生产要素的集聚, 改善投资环境, 扩大对外开放, 加速国土开发, 形成社会生产力, 同时还是形成城市群、经济走廊和现代社会群落的纽带, 加速了地区与整个国家的现代化;未来的高速公路, 将是完全电子化的智能车辆——— 公路系统, 将极大改变人类的生活方式和提高生活质量, 把世界现代化推向更高的阶段.
