Abstract: Bridges are suffered from serious damage defects which are introduced for major bridge types in this article. Typical damage defects of bridge structure and the reasons are discussed, moreover, suggestions and approaches are proposed to solve the problems. At the end, advices for the study of bridge damages are presented

摘要： 桥梁结构面临着严重的病害，文章对几种主要桥梁型式的严重病害情况进行了阐述，对桥梁结构，特别是 桥梁上部结构的一些典型病害及其病因进行了分析，提出了一些解决方法和建议。最后，对桥梁病害的研究提出 了建议。
