    Abstract ( )   PDF (699KB) ( )
Many geological prediction methods have been researched and developed nowadays and each method has its features. It is important to choose rational methods based on the applicability and geological conditions that the operation time and cost can be reduced effectively and the prediction results should be accurate to assure construction safety. Taking the entrance part of Chunshuya Tunnel Project as example, the membership degree theory of fuzzy mathematics was adopted to deal with the fuzzy information of prediction proposals quantitively. The multi-factors of each proposal were evaluated and finally figured out that the best method was“TRT + GPR + pre-drilling”. The result of in-situ application showed that the prediction was successful to explore the potential karst geologic bodies that may bring about tunnel geo-hazards and the preventive measures based on prediction ensured construction safety effectively.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (192KB) ( )
In order to analyze the hydraulic fracture effect of discontinuity on rock slope, based on the theory of fracture mechanics and hydraulics, the critical waterhead formula of hydraulic fracture on discontinuity was elicited through the hydraulic model of rock slope andthe stress condition of cracks on rock mass discontinuity. Based on the critical waterhead formula, the paper got flaw angles of the easiest occur tensile-shear-type and pressure-shear-type hydraulic fracture wreck. Finally, with examples to verify the formula, hydraulic fracture will occur on the slope when it meets the conditions. It can be put forward propagation and coalescence in cranny of discontinuity along with the occurrence of hydraulic fracture. The propagation in cranny will strengthen the infiltration effect of groundwater. When the loss of waterhead has decreased, and uplift pressure has increased further, landslides will be more likely to occur.

The contradictory relation between traffic demands and traffic networks is the source and motive force to promote urban traffic forward harmoniously. It can fully embody the integrated concept of land use and transportation from the integrated, balanced and harmonious configuration of the two. In this paper, based on the alterability of the traffic demands and traffic networks which is reflected by the traffic demand function and road traffic impedance function,a model of coupling relation between them is built with equilibrium principle and a method to make the city and traffic planning integrate is also proposed on the basis of the traffic demands and traffic networks double balanced coordination. Also a standard to judge the harmony level of the traffic demands and traffic networks is introduced. This method can integrate the traffic demands and traffic networks simultaneously and realize the bi-directional equalization between urban traffic flow and traffic demand volume.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (825KB) ( )
Leshan port is located in the old wood hole reservoir River. There river bed and flow conditions are complex. In order to ensure the smooth channel, normal use after the port construction, made a movable bed model test based on the fixed bed model test,to study the reservoir sediment scour and silting evolution and corresponding navigation flow condition. The test results show that,( 1) Silting of riverbed is rapid in the early stage of reservoir operation, along with the reservoir operation for years, the depositing speed gradually slow down,to reservoir operation 20 years, reservoir bed has yet to reach an equilibrium state. ( 2) The main deposition sites are around the beach dredging area on both sides of the old river dam site to end,the right branch of old river dam and in the vicinity of Chung Adams. ( 3) Through bed sediment, but the reservoir area channel scale ( navigation depth, boat is wide, the radius of the bend ) is still larger than the channel three standard and the navigable flow conditions ( flow rate, ratio, flow pattern of flow is 10 000 m3 /s ) satisfy the following requirements for ship navigation too, after the reservoir operates 20 years.

Sediment carrying capacity of overland flow decides whether the erosion or deposition happens on the slope, and it is the key point to the development of slope erosion model. The Low equation is applied in a one-D slope erosion model, and is improved by modifying the gradient index based on the measured data of a runoff plot. Results show that, with the increase of gradient index, the simulation error of soil erosion decreases first, and reaches a minimum value, then increases. A gradient index value of 0. 453 is suggested for Low equation when applied in slope erosion model.

    2012, 31(5): 1042-1045.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-0696.2012.05.29
    Abstract ( )   PDF (506KB) ( )
Although fractal theory provides a new method and means to study a number of complex natural phenomena, there is not constant dimension fractal manifestations strictly exist in the nature. A large number of complex phenomena needs to use variable dimension fractal to describe, and fractal characteristic of a river length is no exception. By using of variable fractal dimension to obtain the law of the length in section of Chongqing city of Yangtze River, the results conclude that: It does express a second-order accumulated variable-dimensional fractal phenomenon. And the dimension can reflect t the degree of bending of the river, the greater dimension, the more the river bend. It has different dimensions at a different location in the same river. In the same river, the larger dimension, the worse flow discharge capacity of the river, and the more obvious of the flood will be on the performance.

    2012, 31(5): 1053-1057.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-0696.2012.05.32
    Abstract ( )   PDF (428KB) ( )
Through statistical analysis on water quality monitoring data of main monitored sections in the Three Gorges reservoir from 2006 to 2010,the general water quality of the reservoir before and after impoundment is evaluated with single factor method and the change characteristics of water quality is reflected by the ratio of monthly water quality classification to annual water quality classification. The analysis results show that if fecal coliform is not considered, the water quality in Yangtze River of Chongqing urban section will be good and the water quality classification of most monitored sections was III,accounting for 30 percent to 91. 7 percent; the ratio of III water classification of the main tributaries of Yangtze ranged above 70 percent, which means small variation of water quality. The content of SS dropped dramatically during mean water and dry period. The content of TP,CODMn and heavy mental have a close relationship with the drop of SS. Tp,CODMn and petroleum of a few sections in individual month and year exceeded the standard seriously.

    2012, 31(5): 1066-1070.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-0696.2012.05.35
    Abstract ( )   PDF (434KB) ( )
The special characteristics of the twist beam suspension were neglected in the usual dynamic models for analysis of vehicles’ride comfort and handling stability performance. To improve the effectiveness and accuracy of vehicle vibration,so called 8-degree of freedom dynamic model and a transient roll model were introduced, where the special characteristics of the twist beam suspension were taken into account. The change of related parameters during vehicle transient roll process and the relations among parameters were analyzed. Besides the vertical stiffness of the front and rear suspension, the torsional stiffness and the length of trailing arm have important influence on the natural frequency of the roll vibration. The work provides foundation for the further research on automotives’ride comfort and handling stability performance.

    2012, 31(5): 1081-1085.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-0696.2012.05.38
    Abstract ( )   PDF (278KB) ( )
Through the method of numerical simulation, model mufflers with different structural parameters for simulation were analyzed. Through analysis it was found that the flow noise peak frequency value is close to the resonant frequency of resonance muffler. Finally, the flow regeneration noise was calculated to get the influence of different structural parameters on resonant frequency. The results show that: the cavity shape and the ratio of height to diameter have influence on the resonant frequency of muffler. When the cavity shape is a cube, the resonant frequency is the highest; while it is spherical, the resonant frequency is the lowest. When the ratio of height to diameter is 0. 6,the resonant frequency reaches the maximum; while with the increase or decrease of height to diameter ratio, the resonant frequency constantly reduces to the two ends.

    2012, 31(5): 1095-1099.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-0696.2012.05.41
    Abstract ( )   PDF (521KB) ( )
Firstly, seasonal adjustment is taken into consideration about two sequences of monthly data concerning tanker freight and the price of spot crude oil by using X11 method. After that, the variation of correlation is demonstrated based on Grey correlation theory, which shows that the degree of correlation increases after seasonal adjustment. Lastly,by applying the Granger Causality Analysis, the corresponding results suggest that Granger causality does exist and tanker freight logarithmic data are affected by the price of spot crude oil data, but the opposite is not true.
