    Numerical Method for Vehicle-Bridge Coupling Vibrations Based on MATLAB

    The vibration balance equations for 2-dofs vehicle and bridge were derived with the employment of d'Alembert principle,and the two numerical methods,Runge-Kutta and NEWMARK,were put forward to solve the problem of vehiclebridge coupling vibration. The analysis strategy was roposed for solving the separated vehicle and bridge motion equations according to NEWMARK method,which conducted iterative computation in each time step and considered the motion equilibrium state of bridge as condition of convergence. In consideration of Runge-Kutta and NEWMARK numerical calculation principals,computational procedures for vehicle-bridge coupling vibration were compiled by use of MATLAB respectively. It is demonstrated through example analysis that the two methods have processed precision. In the process of separated vehicle and bridge motion equations,it is meaningful that the iterative computation was conducted until the bridge reached vibration equilibrium state in each time step.

    Stability Analysis of Open Thin-Walled Steel Box with Variable Cross-Section

    The balance differential equations of bending and torsion of the thin-walled component were derived from notional load technique method,on the base of the deformed structure and the equilibrium of a single plate. On the other hand,a large number of different bucklings with open thin-walled steel box with variable cross-section are analyzed by using finite element program ANSYS.It is concluded that,by vertical uniform loads,the cantilever thin-walled steel box which has open and variable cross-section has three basic forms of buckling,that is,the local buckling of plate,distortion buckling of cross-section and overall buckling of the component. With the change of structural size,first-order buckling form also changes in certain rules.

    Tension Research on Guangyuan Jialing River Double-Line Large-Span Bridge’s Suspender

    Guangyuan Jialing River double-line large-span bridge,whose main span is 172 meters,is taken as the research object. Four schemes are proposed in accordance with different stretching sequences and drawing methods. Using the calculation method of forward iteration,the mechanical properties of the arch and girder are analyzed among different schemes after the second phase of constant load applied and the boom put pressure on relevant targets force,and the drawing effects of various schemes in tension to designed goal of boom internal force are compared. Research shows that: second phase constant load should be applied after the completion of the initial tension,and drawing effect of secondary tension method is excellent,during which the inner force changing extent of boom,arch and beam would be less.

    Aiming at the defects of wired sensor data acquisition network,a three-tier monitoring program is proposed,which includes remote data management and analysis center,embedded on-site data acquisition subsystem,and ZigBee wireless sensor data acquisition network. An on-site data acquisition system using S3C2440 processor as the core is established; and a ZigBee wireless sensor network is also established to complete the on-site data acquisition,which sends the integrated and pretreated data back to the remote data center by the GPRS network. Multi-source heterogeneous sensor acquisition of experimental data corresponds with the environment variables exactly,which verifies the stability and reliability of the system.

    Structure Seismic Damage Reliability Analysis Based on Probabilistic Seismic Intensity

    In this paper a more accurate,practical seismic reliability analysis method is studied based on the structure varying seismic damage degrees. Concrete perforated brick masonry was taken as the example and the seismic damage index were used to demarcate structure damage state levels. At the same time,structure damage state was tiered. Actual seismic intensity probability in the earthquake zone was considered,and the probabilistic seismic intensity was induced for improvement the traditional reliability formula. A structure seismic damage reliability analysis method was built basing on the probabilistic seismic intensity. Grading quantitative evaluation for structure seismic damage state and its probability was achieved.It is helpful to provide direct work basis for further structure seismic study and seismic risk assessment.

    The components of Sichuan Longquan Mountain supervisory system in the expressway tunnels are introduced.Schneider UnityPremium PLC’s system structure and control method in the supervisory system are also introduced. In this supervisory system,the network core is Modbus TCP/IP 100 Mbps industrial optical fiber nets and GPRS wireless network.Since the proposed supervisory system was applied,its operation has been of good stability and reliability,which realizes the unattended site.

    Related factors of influencing highway route are selected to build index system of highway route evaluation,in terms of considering the main problems when selecting highway route. The projection method is applied to establishing the model of selecting highway route. Through the case study,it is indicated that the model can comprehensively reflect the various factors which influences highway route scheme and objectively make evaluation for highway route scheme.

    Asphalt Seal Impact on Vibration Performance of Cement Pavement

    Several kinds of different thickness asphalt emulsion seal laid on the cement pavement are taken into consideration,and then the influence of the asphalt emulsion seal upon vibration performance of cement pavement under dynamic load is analyzed and calculated by ANSYS. The calculation and analysis results show that to add a filmy layer of asphalt emulsion seal on the cement pavement can effectively decrease the vehicle induction stiffness when vehicle running on the road,which can efficiently decrease the influenced range of the dynamic load effect on the road surface. On the whole,to add a filmy layer of asphalt emulsion seal on the cement road surface may have certain effect on improving the deformation and stress of cement pavement under dynamic load,but this effect is not obvious; along with the increase of the thickness of asphalt emulsion seal,the normal stress and shear stress of the bottom surface will be reduced,and the reduction is small in the early of the thickness change and bigger in the later of the thickness change.

    Workability and Strength Property of PP Fiber Reinforced Self-Consolidate Concrete

    The effects of different addition ( by volume) of polypropylene ( PP) fiber on workability and strength of self-consolidate concrete ( SCC) were investigated,by which the optimized proportion of PP fiber ratio was gotten. The results show that,the addition of PP fiber in SCC should be appropriately equal or less than 0. 10% ( by volume) under the condition of constant mix proportion of other materials in SCC; the fiber volume fraction and workability of fiber reinforced self-consolidate concrete compared ( FRSCC) can be improved effectively by increasing powder ratio and admixture ratio,which can make the maximum fiber content to 0. 15% ( by volume) ; contrary to the its influence on workability,the addition of PP fiber have little influence on compressive strength,but the splitting strength of FRSCC with 0. 15% PP fiber under the optimized mix proportion can be improved by 40% than normal SCC.

    Mechanical Response of Asphalt Pavement under Fluid-Solid Coupling in the Case of Rainfall Infiltration

    Through the finite element software ABAQUS,the finite element model of asphalt pavement seepage under the condition of rainfall infiltration is established and the corresponding seepage rule and seepage field distribution state are got.On the basis of establishing the reasonable rainfall seepage field border,porous media fluid-solid coupling theory is applied to analyze the mechanical response of the asphalt pavement in the case of seepage and driving loading. Results indicate that: rainfall infiltration process will lead to the asphalt pavement internal saturation and a significant change on pore water pressure;the rainfall infiltration of the asphalt pavement internal stress index possesses wave characteristics under the function of dynamic loading,and pore water pressure and velocity appear larger positive and negative eversal.

    The computation model and the solution method of IRI ( International Roughness Index) are studied,meanwhile,the main influencing factions of IRI precision are found out. The influence of displacement sensors precision,sampling interval,distance,vehicle velocity on IRI precision are analyzed by numerical simulation. A conclusion was drawn that: to improve the precision of displacement sensors and to reduce the easuring error could improve obviously the precision of IRI measurement; the vehicle velocity was nearer to the ideal velocity,the precision of IRI measurement was higher; the measure direction has smaller impact on the precision of IRI measurement.

    Thickness Testing of Effective Asphalt Film in RAP

    The concept of effective asphalt film thickness in RAP is put forward based on the analysis of the old asphalt state in RAP; secondly,the thickness formulas of effective asphalt film in RAP are derived by reclaimed asphalt mixture compositions analysis to calculate the content of effective asphalt in RAP; thirdly,surface area coefficient method is used to calculate the thickness of effective asphalt film in RAP;inally,the surfaces of RAP are dispersed by activation treatment to improve the RAP effective asphalt film thickness. The results are found that: the thickness of asphalt film in RAP is 4.889μm,thickness of asphalt film in RAP about,recycled asphalt mixture,recycled asphalt mixture E,recycled asphalt mixture F-E is 2.912μm,2.785μm,4.604μm respectively; meanwhile,it is indicated that F-E has an activation on RAP mixture surface,which improves the effective film thickness of asphalt in RAP surface further.

    Influence of Warm Mix Additive on Porous Asphalt Mixture Performance

    The effect of decreasing temperature of different warm mix asphalt additives is confirmed by Marshall Test. The influence of warm mix additive on porous asphalt mixture performance is researched. The results indicate that warm mix additive can decrease the mix temperature markedly,different warm mix asphalt additives have different effects of decreasing temperature,and the optimum mix temperature should be determined by compaction test. Warm mix asphalt additive A has no significant effect on road performance,but warm mix asphalt additive B improves high-temperature stability,and decreases water stability and anti-cracking performance.

    Performance,Energy Saving and Emission Reduction of Warm Mixture Asphalt Using Hard-Soft Combined Binder

    The warm mix asphalt using hard-soft combined binder is made by pre-coating with soft asphalt and then enhancing with hard asphalt. The performance and effect of energy saving and emission reduction of the mix were evaluated based on laboratory tests and the results from the construction and monitoring of the trial section. In addition,comparison was made with HMA and other types of WMA mixes. The results of laboratory tests show the strength of warm mixture asphalt using hard-soft combined binder increases with the time; moreover,this warm mixture asphalt possesses good high temperature stability and fatigue resistance. However,anti-stripping measures should be incorporated to ensure the moisture stability.The results from the onsite monitoring during construction indicate that the warm mix asphalt technology using hard-soft combined binder is able to lower the mix construction temperature effectively,which is significant to energy saving and emission reduction. The emission reduction effect of this warm mix asphalt technology is even better than that using paraffin wax to reduce the viscosity. The monitoring results obtained from a certain asphalt pavement with 2-year service demonstrate that the rut depth of the pavement using this warm mix asphalt technology is only about 50% of those using HMA with the same gradation.

    By the experimental study of the testing with high density resistivity method in the site of the highway embankment and the rating test of the resistivity in the laboratory,resistivity measurement is applied to the evaluation of the subgrade moisture content. And the high density resistivity method in the detection of subgrade compaction quality is also discussed.It is showed that the compaction quality of the embankment can be qualitatively judged to some extent by the method of high density resistivity,and the water content of the embankment can be reflected by the distribution of the electrical resistivity in the embankment sections.

    SDG is a density gauge based on electromagnetism principle. It could be used as a rapid nondestructive detecting method to detect subgrade compaction,which is helpful to real-time dynamic detecting of subgrade compaction. With site and laboratory tests,it cloud be concluded that the SDG is suitable for compaction detecting of clayey embankment with favorable stability and dependability,especially for the clayey embankment which dry density is near or above 1. 5g /cm3 .

    Numerical Simulation of Anchor Failure Effecting Stability of Rock Slope

    The effect of anchor failure caused by anchor lattice beam on the slope stability is analyzed by numerical simulation.The other anchor cables’stress change and slopes’failure situation are simulated,after the anchor failure of anchored slope from the loading to different ocations and orders. Mechanism of slope anchor failure influencing the slope stability is studied. Research results show that: in the situation of loading,the upper anchors of the slope are more inclined to anchor damage than the lower anchors,and the anchor force of the failed anchor will transfer to other anchors. Anchor damages at different locations of slope caused by line failure have different effect on the slope stability.

Meanwhile,the subgrade diseases about the cavity areas of lava are also analyzed. On the basis of these achievements,a new outlook about the highway construction at the cavity areas of lava is made out.

    The damage mechanism of the wave beam guardrail is analyzed,combining with the investigation on the damaged state of the wave beam guardrail. Maximum deflection of the guardrail beam and the top-offset of the guardrail post are taken as guardrail damaged classification indicators. The index value is derived through mechanical model analysis,and guardrail damaged grade is classified into three levels based on experiment indicators. Finally,the repair program is determined according to the guardrail damaged grade.

    Deformed intersection exists in urban road network. On the base of analyzing traffic problems of deformed intersection,traffic improvement methods are put forward. Some methods are applied on Nanshuncheng street and the Yueya road intersection of Zhaotong city. It is proved that the proposed methods are effective to improve the traffic at the deformed intersection,in the comparison with the traffic modification before and after.

    Lane Capacity Modeling and Simulating of Branch Road at Unsignalized Intersection

    In order to solve the problem about what is over-idealization hypothesis and large error for existing lane capacity models of branch road at unsignalized intersection,as for the different functional lanes of branch road with one or two lanes,the traffic flow feature of platoon composed of minor-type and large-type vehicles in branch road is analyzed firstly,based on the gap acceptance theory and M3 distribution of main flow at unsignalized intersection. Then,the capacity models of different functional lanes of branch road are set up. Finally,Vissim traffic simulation software is used to test the reliability of the models,and the models are simplified to enhance their practicality. The study result shows that the models error is less than 2% when the traffic flow of main road belongs to 600 - 1.000 veh /h.

    By object-oriented thought,the rural roads are extracted by the use of a single band CBERS 02B HR image method.Firstly,the images are segmented. And then the spectral information and object geometry information of images objects are comprehensively applied to build the road extraction knowledge base. Thirdly,the results of rural roads extraction are improved and completed. The results show that better accuracy of road extraction can be obtained by the proposed method,in contrast to the pixel-oriented method.

    Impact of Traffic Management and Control on Vehicle Exhaust Emission within Urban Tunnel

    With the rapid development of urbanization and motorization,motor vehicle exhaust pollution is more and more serious in cities. The tunnel which had a serious pollution problem was chosen as the research object. On the basis of a detailed investigation on traffic volume and road characteristics,a computing method of traffic exhaust pollution simulation was proposed,through combining microscopic traffic simulation and vehicle emission model,which analyzed different means of traffic management and control effecting vehicle exhaust emission within the tunnel. Taking Jiuhuashan Tunnel in Nanjing as an example,a simulation platform was built on the basis of VISSIM software and CMEM model,which simulated speed limit,vehicle restrictions,odd-even traffic restrictions and other management measures impacting exhaust emission. The simulation results showed the proposed method could simulate vehicle operation and exhaust emission within urban tunnel exactly.

    In the process of emergency evacuation in the case of dangerous goods leakage,the evacuation people are affected by self factors,before and after factors as well as both sides. The relationship between density and speed of evacuation people is deduced by the principle of basic dynamics and Newtonian mechanics model. Dynamic emergency model to make a target of shortest evacuation time is established. And the quantum particle swarm algorithm is used to solve the model. The usefulness of the model and algorithm is verified by the case study,which is finely fitting the real evacuation of people.

    Based on the survey of tourists in Beijing,the tourist trip chaining behaviors were analyzed by Multinomial Logit model. Tourists travel attributes and personal attributes were considered to have a significant effect on the trip chain,and the allocation of time is also taken into consideration. The result demonstrates that six variables,including age,occupation, travel time,local tourists or not,be familiar with attraction or not,allocation of time,have significant impact on trip chain choice. The results show that the proposed model is of high accuracy,which can provide a theoretical basis for prediction of tourist travel.

    The self-adaptive flexible structure hydraulic-driven clamp was proposed. According to the working principle and the structure parameters of the driving system,a mathematical motel of the driving system was established and a simulation model of electro-hydraulic proportional closed-loop control system based on AMEsim was also established. The effect on the dynamic characteristics of bionics fingers from the K and PID controller were analyzed and studied. The results demonstrate that there is an optimum value K,which has a significant impact on dynamic and static characteristics of the system; and the accuracy and stability of the system are improved obviously after joining the PID controller.

    The optimal matching of automotive powertrain is an important part of automotive design. The experimental data of engine universal characteristics is very important in the motor fuel economy field. Using the experimental data of universal characteristics,the minimum fuel consumption,the mean fuel consumption and the mean-square fuel consumption were obtained, and the comprehensive evaluation standard of engine fuel economy was also established. Through the minimum ratio of transmission,the fast calculation method of optimal matching was obtained. The validity of fast calculation method was verified by testing and computing.

    Combining the index requirement of automobile ride comfort with the design standard of the fractional-octave filter,the sampling time sequence signal could be ongoing band-pass filter referring to every octave band of twenty central frequencies;and the root-mean-square value of the filtered signal is computed with the proposed Butterworth band-pass filter programmed by the software MATLAB. And the weighted root-mean-square value would be also computed according to the weight coefficients of one-third octave band in the standard of automobile ride comfort. The testing data processing shows that the result of the one-third octave band analysis calculated by programming is almost approximate with that obtained by the dynamical analysis instrument of SD-380,which can realize the effective evaluation about the automobile ride comfort,and satisfy the requirements of band-pass filter performance indices.

    Online fault diagnosis for the hydraulic system which is based on the two-dimensional united fuzzy method is offered, and a dual of fault diagnosis mode combing the wavelet analysis with fuzzy evaluation have been used. The fuzzy array of the fault diagnosis expert system has been structured by using the united weighting allocation method,then an objective and reasonable vector of fault symptoms is obtained by using the theory of evaluation of complex sample variance. In that way,the swiftness and preciseness of fault diagnosing are validated. At the end,the fault diagnosis expert system for hydraulic system of truck crane has been set up.

    Sedimentation in Yangtze River from Wanzhou to Fuling during 135 m Operational Phase of the Three Gorges Reservoir

    Based on the field data of the Three Gorges Reservoir from 2003 to 2006,the sedimentation deposition in the Yangtze River from Wanzhou to Fuling during 135-139m operational phase is analyzed. It is showed that there are 20 reaches sediment deposited and 3 reaches scoured. The total sedimentation in the Yangtze River between Wanzhou and Fuling is about 1. 56 billion m3 and about 1. 5 billion m3 sands ( 96. 2% of the total sedimentation) ,which is deposited downstream of Fengdu. The places,such as continuous curve bend,broad reach,and so on,are mostly deposited areas. With the operational time of the Three Gorges Reservoir,the gradation composition of sedimentation gradually becomes fine. In future while storage level is rising furthermore,sedimentation in continuous curve bend will increase greatly,which will obstruct navigation

    On the base of studying the feature of the recent fluvial process and the changing tendency,the effects of the fluvial process to stability of pre-existing revetment work are mainly studied. The achievements are indicated that the left braided reach will be maintained as the main river reach in Shishou reach during a long period; and the river scouring has been severe after the operation of Three Gorges Reservoir; while,the river regime has no major change. Fluvial process has certain effect on the pre-existing revetment work. The swing of the thalweg,the changes of main flow souring position,the sour-andfill of islands and beaches,and the partial inshore scour hole all let the flows make effect on the pre-existing revetment work,which is adverse to the stability of part of the preexisting revetment work.

    The layout of the bridge such as bridge site,the bridge spacing and span significantly affect navigation conditions of bridge group reach of the mountain river. The navigation environment of Caiyuanba Bridge group reach of Yangtze River is complex. Based on the model test,the flow condition for navigation,ship maneuvering characteristics are analyzed by the time when the bridges are completed. It is indicated that the effect of Shibanpo Bridge on the bridge group reach of Yangtze River is relatively greater,where the navigation condition is poor caused by the narrow and curved channel,as well as the insufficient navigation clearance. The main navigable hole of Caiyuanba Bridge pasts across the navigable waterway,but it is close to Shibanpo Bridge. So the descending vessels should promptly adjust the direction and position after through Caiyuanba Bridge to prepare for passing the next bridge. To ensure the safety of navigation,the security measures of bridge group should be considered overallly.

    This article based on the measurement and research of several rapids shoal on Lancang river,by the shoal formation flows that we get the preliminary hydraulic index of representative ships. That preliminary hydraulic index is not systematic,and is not conducive to use in project. It needs systematization to get the series index. By force balance analysis on ship effective thrust and navigation resistance,export the reasonable expression of rapids shoal and away flow shoal hydraulic index,merge the flow and slope into a general. Away beach index that called the away beach distinguish number. Using the away beach distinguish number expression to curve fitting the preliminary hydraulic index,which can be simply identified that the systematic away beach hydraulic index is reasonable and easy for use.

    The optimization of slot allocation is a vital decision-making problem in container liner operation. This paper calculated the amount of preserved slot for common customers on each part of a multi-port call cycle voyage by probability and statistics approach based on the principle of revenue management. The random programming model of container slot allocation including empty container’s allocation and transportation was established. And then it was transformed into a solvable determined programming model by means of fixing the upper and lower slot amount limit of long term contract customers on each voyage. An empirical study was implemented via a case study,and it is validated that the established model and its algorithm are feasible.

    The SE-DEA model is applied to analyze the competitiveness of tanker enterprises from longitudinal,taking China Merchants Energy Shipping Co. ,Ltd. as an example of empirical analysis. The result shows that the performance of China Merchants Energy Shipping Co. ,Ltd. has improved in 2010 compared with those of others. The reason is that it achieves stable revenue for its high proportion of long-term contracts. The result of the empirical analysis also shows that the SE-DEA model is applicable in evaluating competitiveness of tanker enterprises.

    Based on the theory of collusion in auction, the inherent mechanism of cover bidding is firstly analyzed,including the formation and performance mechanism of the cover bidding agreement, the goal of cover bidding organization and its members,the incentive compatible and participation constraint conditions faced by every member. Then combined with the inherent mechanism,the effects of relevant prevention measures are analyzed from the aspects,such as restraining information exchange,blocking bidding up the price,inhibiting the participation intention of cover bidding and making cover bidding organization internal collapse,mean while the shortcomings of these measures are also pointed out. Finally,the corresponding improvements of these measures are brought forward.

    Reliability theory of structures was carried out in the beginning of the existing storm sewer system node. And the influence of the uncertain factors were analyzed,which included node water carrying capacity of upstream and downstream pipe diameter d,roughness n,hydraulic gradient J,the calculating model NR of and the water flow q that flowed into the nodes. Monte-Carlo method was utilized to define the node reliability,and finally to identify the reliability of existing network in a way of the narrow bound method under a tandem structure model.
