    Stress Analysis of Anchorge Zone of Cable Tower in Extradosed Cable-stayed Bridge Based on Contact Theory

    A nonlinear contact model for anchorage zone of cable tower with strand-separating tubular-saddle was established via large-scale finite element software; simulating contact relation between cable and saddle by contact pair was carried out; stress distribution in the concrete on tower wall was discussed as well as transfer and distribution of cable force based on exquisite simulation calculation for the model.Comparative analysis of model through equivalent linear load was conducted.Results indicated that contact algorithm was close to actual level.

    The finite element model of the steel anchor beam was established by ANSYS to obtain the static strength of the model in a variety of working conditions; the natural frequency and other characteristics of the structure was also extracted in the same working condition.The dynamic response of the steel anchor was analysed in the pulse fluctuating wind loads and a comprehensive evaluation was given.

    Based on the special construction details at spandrel zone of Beipanjiang Bridge,the construction with cantilevered segmental method in the lower chords and on-site construction of bracket in the upper chords were conducted.A finite element model including box girders,cables and brackets was built; the mechanics analysis of the bracket in three different cases was performed.The results demonstrated that lower chords girder concrete casting,cables and pre-stress bars tensioning exerted great influence on internal forces of bracket columns; internal forces concentration would occur.

    According to the code for design of highway reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete bridges and culverts, the differences of calculated value and table value on calculation coefficient D for normal section compressive bearing capacity of reinforced concrete eccentric compression members with circular section were compared.And then correction method was proposed.The analysis results show that the method has good accuracy,which meets the needs of bridge design.

    Theoretical analysis of the composite steel box girders subjected to torsional moment was proceeded.The relationship between reinforcement rate and concrete failure modes,reinforced bar yield failure modes was put forward.Meanwhile, the calculation method of ultimate strength of composite steel box girders was presented.The correctness of calculation method was verified by comparison with experimental results.

    Composite structure was applied to the arch bridge.Taking Chongqing Wulong shiqiao Reservoir Bridge as the prototype,it carried out flat steel webs concrete arch bridge trial design,and contrasted the flat steel webs concrete arch bridge with the corrugated steel webs concrete arch bridge in the respects of force and materials.The results show that steel webs arch bridge reduces its own weight, the push force, the axial force of steel webs and the quantity of the whole bridge.

    Finite Element Simulating and Analysis of Railway through Concrete Filled Steel Tubular Arch Bridge

    The whole construction process of a concrete filled steel tubular arch bridge was analyzed in detail and then the inner forces of critical stages were attained.The bridge is a structure which is multi-statically indeterminate inside but statically determinate outside,as a result,there will be many times of structure system transformation in the whole construction process; moreover,distribution of inner force and the line type criteria of the structure will be influenced by cable adjustment of every cable.Finally,cable adjustment was optimized using impact matrix method,in this way,distribution of inner force will be more reasonable when built up.

    Experimental Research of Grid Tube Steel and FRP Confined Concrete Cylinders

    This paper introduced a new kind steel tube confined concrete cylinder,which had grid steel tube style,and closed in FRP( Fiber Reinforcement Plastic) membrane.The tube had the rectangle shape,and its width was 30.8cm, height was 11.43cm,the punch circle had two types of arrangements: one was square,the other was spiral.There were totally 27 specimen.Single dimensional compressive experiment showed that grid steel tube improves the deformation and energy - absorbing abilities.Comparing with spiral type arrangement,the square type arrangement specimen had better abilities of deformation and energy-absorption.

    The response of cable-stayed bridge under vessel collision load by dynamic and static analysis was analyzed with the maximum and the local average and the global average of the dynamic time history of ship impact as the equivalent static load.After comparison of the results it could be obtained that the response of cable-stayed bridge was different when different methods were applied.It was suggested that the cable-stayed bridge crossing the navigable river should be designed by dynamic analysis under vessel impact so as to get the displacement and force response accurately.

    A late-model FRP floating pontoon protection structure with self-location function,weaker contact joint formation and higher energy dissipating effect for bridge piers in the ship collision is presented in this paper.The structure applies to the pier protection engineering where the water level around the bridge fluctuates largely or the actual resisting capability of the pier is insufficient for its designing ship collision force.With the structure, the optimized protection effect that “neither damage the pier nor harm its self structure and ship structure too much”can be achieved.It can be regarded as a trial of technical innovation to realize the“harmonious protection”and“long-term protection”for the pier in the ship collision.

    Prediction of Ultimate Bearing Capacity of Single Pile by the Maximum Curvature Point of Hyperbolic

    From the analytic geometry's point of view,the asymptotic which parallel to the settlement axis had been employed to determine the bearing capacity in the traditional hyperbolic method.In this paper the maximum curvature point of hyperbolic was used to ultimate bearing capacity of single pile.In practical application,the traditional methods were analysed comparing with the method proposed.The results showed that the ultimate bearing capacity Qu calculated by the method in this paper was equivalent to Qult reduction which was calculated by the traditional method.The flatter the curve was,the more the reduction.In the relationship of the ultimate bearing capacity and the load series,maximum curvature method agreed with traditional method; the ultimate bearing capacity would be stable and large with the increasing numble of the load series.

    For studying the single index criterion of lining cavities,and introducing lab large-scale model test combining the engineering example,analyzing the variety of structure bearing capacity,disease producing shapes and varying rule and so on where are different dimension cavities after lining.finding out the single health criterion of cavity: it is health where no cavities after the lining,it’s sub-health when the dimension is less than 100mm,disease when the dimension is between 100mm and 550mm,it’s sick to death if the dimension were more than 550mm.

    Maximum principal tensile stress and maximum shear stress on each layer's bottom caused by the changes of the partial bonding condition between the base course and the surface courses of asphalt pavement are be calculated by ANSYS. The results show that when the wheel loads act on bonding failure area,the maximum principal tensile stress will have a significant increase in the top surface layer’s bottom and the bottom layer’s bottom; the maximum principal tensile stress has little influence on the middle surface layer’s bottom; and maximum shear stress has little influence on the bottom of each layer.When the wheel loads act on intact area,shear stress has little influence by the bonding condition near the bonding failure area.

    Study on Pavement Performance of Fiber Asphalt Mortar and Its Mixtures

    Taking SMA-10 as an exemple water stability test,rutting test,dynamic and static creep tests,constant height repeating shear test ( RSCH) and four-points bending fatigue test to study the influence of lignin fiber,mineral fiber and PAN fiber to asphalt mortar and its mixtures.were carried out by means of DSR,BBR The results showed that adding fiber in asphalt could significantly improve the high temperature properties of asphalt mortar and these mixtures while these low temperature crack resistance decreased.The freeze stability and the high temperature performance of mineral fiber asphalt mixture were better; the fatigue performance of PAN fiber asphalt mixture is excellent.The test results of rutting test,dynamic creep test and RSCH had good correlation and these results could preferably reflect the influence of various fibers to asphalt mixtures.The viscoelastic constants of dynamic creep test could predict the rutting of asphalt surface.

    Investigation of Aging Kinetics of SBS Modified Asphalt Based on Rheological Properties

    Through the application of ageing kinetics model,ageing kinetics equation has been established on the basis of complex modulus.Rheological properties test have been carried out on SBS modified asphalt and base asphalt.The results demonstrate that when asphalt material in ageing process,the hypothesis that complex modulus is inversely proportional to the concentration of reactant assumptions of ageing reaction is established,on the basis of which,ageing kinetics constant has been obtained.Ageing kinetics equation has been validated by using measured data,it shows that,SBS modified asphalt owns higher reaction activation energy,a good anti-ageing property as well,that the measured data can keep accordance with calculated data,which demonstrates ageing kinetics equation is established reasonably on the basis of complex modulus. The equation can well describe rheological state changes of asphalt in ageing process.

    In order to achieve the evaluation of the soil-stone mixture embankments, compaction more accurately more rapidly, the volatility model which could be used to calculate the compaction degree with the shear wave velocity and the longitudinal wave velocity was deduced according to the wave propagation characteristics of the soil-stone media.Then the Rayleigh wave testing is taken to collect the wave-data to calculate the embankments,compaction degree.Finally,contrast with the result of the filling sand method to verify its reliability.

    Some analysis methods for the access probability of the mountainous road network component units were illuminated when disasters occurred.Monte Carlo simulation was applied to analyzing and calculating mountainous road network connectivity reliability.The calculation precision of Monte Carlo simulation was tested by probability analytic method.A optimization means for selecting the location of the emergency rescue center was provided by Monte Carlo simulation.Finally, calculated process was illustrated through numerical example.Results showed that some weak links of mountainous road network for connectivity could be obtained by Monte Carlo simulation.Selecting the optimum location for the emergency rescue center was of significance when disasters occurred.

    The bi-directional equilization between urban traffic flow and traffic demand volume can fully illustrate the integrated concept of land use and transportation.Based on analysis of traffic spatial demands,the coupled model between traffic demands and road networks with equilibrium principle was established and the analysis model for the integrated equilibrium concept between traffic spatial demands and traffic networks was built.This method can achieve traffic demand and road network coordination.This can be used for reference not only for the integrated concept of urban land use and transportation but also for the integration of urban planning and transportation planning.

    Research on the Steering Feature in Fatigue Driving State

    Traffic accidents because of fatigue driving are on the rise.In order to realize early warning effectively,the variation rule of electrocardiogram signals( ECG) and steering characteristics with the driving time was studied and feasible program was designed.The trends and significance of four indicators in the ECG signals over time were analysed,and a comprehensive evaluation indicator was established after principal component analysis to identify driver states.The steering features under different driving conditions and road alignments were researched.Steering features were analysed by steering entropy.Test results indicated that when the driver was in fatigue,the steering entropy increased by 57.1%,compared with the driver in waking state.

    In the vehicle and road interaction study,it is not enough to consider the influence of road roughness only on dynamic load,but the driving condition should also be taken into account.According to the vehicle-road coupling characteristics, the models of heavy truck and 3D curved road were built with the ADAMS /Car dynamics simulation software.Meanwhile, the dynamic loads between the wheels and the pavement on curved ramp road and straight road were analyzed comparatively. The result indicated that the pavement damage of curved road was larger than that of straight road

    To auto-change the traffic zone address into traffic zone code in OD survey,a new matching method and computer program were put forward; an object-oriented programming environment ( Visual Basic) and the GIS component ( MapX) as development environment were adopted; zone code matching and its relevant work were achieved through friendly user interface platform and geographical correlation supported by GIS.The results indicated that the system,with the advantage of repeated use and promotion,greatly improved efficiency.

    The shortcomings of the existing mooring system and the possibility of the application of electromagnetic technology in wharf mooring system are analyzed and the advantages of the electromagnetic technology used in water transportation at home and abroad are consulted.In addition,the basic composition and operation principles of a kind of electromagnetic mooring component are introduced in detail and we take the application of new electromagnetic mooring component in floating wharf for example to introduce the checking computations of mooring force.Finally,we got the conclusion that new electromagnetic mooring component,with the characteristics of simple structure, easy to manufacture and convenient operation, can improve the efficiency and the structural stress of dock port.

    Through analysis of basic working principle of wedged brake,change of friction factor under the influence of temperature, relative sliding speed,load and other factors was analyzed.Based on three-dimensional simulation model,simulation of braking torque was carried out by ADAMS dynamics analysis software.Compared with the experimental results, correctness of the simulation analysis was verified,which laid a foundation for the study of wedged brake efficiency.

    Based on CFD numerical simulation and adopting Realizable κ-ε model and non—equilibrium wall function, the model for the body surface and its exterior flow field of an automobile was established; exterior flow field of an automobile was analyzed after comparison to that from wind—tunnel test.The results demonstrated that the difference between simulation and test results for drag coefficient was only 5.4%,therefore it could satisfy the engineering demand.There was discrepancy between measure unit and experiment,but the trend was identical.

    The engine steady-state output torque model and the fuel consumption model were established based on the engine test results.The target transmission ratio of optimal power and best fuel economy were also established.On the basis of these models,the throttle-ratio integrated control strategy of hydro-mechanical continuously variable transmission system and engine was proposed.At last,the simulation models were established by Matlab /Simulink.The simulation results indicated that the optimal power performance and the optimal fuel economy can be achieved by this integrated control strategy.

    This paper summarized the phenomena and reasons of common faults for TY180 bulldozer working member hydraulic system based on the analyses of its working principle,structure and typical faults.Corresponding measures were put forward to eliminate the faults.By causal analysis and fault tree analysis ( FTA) ,the fish bones chart of shovel’s motionless or weakness rising and fault tree of scarifier cylinder fixed are given out to explicitly describe the logical relationship between causes and corresponding results of the faults.Practice has proved it is possible to rapidly diagnose and eliminate some faults of bulldozer working member hydraulic system with the proposed methods to improve the machine reliability.It provides certain theoretical basis and practical references for fault detection and maintenance of hydraulic system of construction machinery.

    Based on analysis of electric vehicles driving motor torque and speed,brushless DC motor was chosen to be power source.Double closed loop speed regulation system was applied to the electric vehicle controller; motor and controller were designed in MATLAB/SimPowerSystems; the mechanical model was built by ADAMS through the hardpoints.Based on co-simulation,the dynamic performance including max speed,maximum gradability and acceleration time was analyzed and dynamic test was conducted.Comparison between simulation results and test results showed validity of the simulation model.

    The TAZ5313JQZQY25A vehicle crane model was established by CRUISE software.Its power and braking performance were analyzed by simulation analysis.The validity of the model was validated by comparing simulation results with experimental data.In order to improve the power performance of the crane,powertrain parameters were optimized and matched via different engines,transmissions and final drive.The complete vehicle power performance was comprehensively evaluated by weighted comprehensive evaluation and optimum matching scheme was obtained .

    Due to the large time constant,long time-delay and time-varying characteristic of marine diesel engine cylinder cooling water temperature control system,a new fuzzy self-setting PID control strategy with grey prediction was presented; it could automatically adjust controller parameters according to the predicted output error and error rate,which made the controller adaptive to the response of systems.Simulation results indicated that the strategy compared with traditional PID control and fuzzy PID contro1,had strong self-adaptive ability with better dynamic and static performance.
