    Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics (CFRP), a new kind of engineering material is widely used in civil engineering to strengthen old structures. The article studies the performances of short concrete column limited with CFRP under axial load in lab and compares them with that of short common concrete column and concrete column with spiral reinforcement.
