    Wang Shijie
    1990, 9(2): 12-18.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (388KB) ( )
This paper investigates the constitutive relation of an anisotropic laminate in the nonlinear hygrothermal field. The general equation of hygrothermal field for nonlinear distribution along thickness satisfying the boundary condition was drawn up in this paper. Therefore, the matrix equations of internal force, strain, residual stress and residual strain for a laminate were obtained. These equations are also applicable to the hygrothermal field of uniform distribution and linearity.

Thick Plate FEM Analysis of a Curved Wide Plate Bridge
    Wu Bo, Qu Guangyi
    1990, 9(2): 19-28.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (555KB) ( )
This paper puts forward an analysis method for curved wide plate bridges with thick plate elements. This analysis method is quite valid. The effect of shearing deformation is considered in the thick plate elements. Both thick plates and thin plates can be analysed by using the elements. In this paper, the authors presented the analysis results for a two-span continuous reinforced concrete curved plate bridge by using the thick plate elements.

Effective Width of Box Girder Bridge Flange and Further Proposals to Highway Bridge Codes
    Xiang Yiqiang
    1990, 9(2): 29-37.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (551KB) ( )
Based on reference[1],this paper derives the formula of the effective width of flange for estimating shear lag effect in box girder bridge. After studying the effective width of the simply supported and cantilever box girder of different ratios of width to span under point load or uniform load and consulting research reports and design codes concerned on box girder, the paper offers further proposals concerning the estimation of shear lag effect in box girder bridge to the current native highway bridge codes, which may be used as a reference for the design and modification of highway bridge codes.

Analysis of Bond Anchor Bolt in the Tunnel
    Wang Cheng
    1990, 9(2): 38-44.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (398KB) ( )
The present paper theoretically proposed a better computational method of support by anchor-sbotcrete for bond anchor bolt in axial symmetry. The action between all the bond anchor bolts and the rock medium was equivalently dealt with in a volumetric force applied to the surrounding rock and is considered in the fundamental equations of the problem.Thereby, the better elastoplastic solution is obtained in consideration of the bond anchor bolt.

The Mechanical Analysis of Plate on Visco-Elastic Winkler Foundation under Moving Load
    Huang Xiaoming, Deng Xuejun
    1990, 9(2): 45-51.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (381KB) ( )
In this paper, the displacement expression of plate on viscoelastic Winkler foundation under moving load is obtained,in which Fourier transformation is used.In order to simulate the vehicle load on the road, the formula is derived assuming that the load moves with uniform velocity. The formula under this load is obtained. It is important to analyze the dynamic character of rigid pavement.

Site Measurement and Investigation of Fender piles ofPontoon Wharfs
Zhang Zhihong, Yang Yingyun, Yang Chengyu
    1990, 9(2): 52-58.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (401KB) ( )
A method for measuring the horizontal displacement of the fender piles over and under the water surface, and deflection curves of the rubber fenders simultaneously at the different points with the displacement transmitters when 10000-tonner-oil carrier berths at the pontoon wharf is described in this paper.According to the measured data, the berthing impacts which act on the fender piles, elastic curves and effective energy absorption curves of the piles are analysed. The depth of embedment, the maximum moment of the piles and the value of the coefficient of soil reaction "M" are calculated by cantilever beam method and "M" method respectively. The calculated results are also compared with the designed values.
