    Xu Xibin, Wang Zhenglin
    1990, 9(3): 1-11.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (746KB) ( )
On the basis of the analyses and researches of the prestressed concrete hollow-core slabs with cold drawn low carbon wire, nine full-scale prestressed concrete hollow-core slabs with cold drawn and spiraled low carbon wire were tested and the cracks, displacement, failure form and ductility behaviour of these slabs were analysed and discussed with quantities of theoretical calculations.According to the experimental researches and theoretical calculations, some recommendations for design are given in this paper.

    Jin Weiliang, Zhao Guofan
    1990, 9(3): 12-20.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (541KB) ( )
Based on the summerization of the analysis of thin-walled box curved girder, the generalized displacement method of thin-walled box curved girder is established in this paper. The quintic polynomial displacement function for curved girder and the analytical relation between the warping torsion and deformation of the box section are presented. Two numerical examples are used to demonstrate the application and correctness of this method.

The Driver Behaviour and Road Environment
    Wang Jian
    1990, 9(3): 21-29.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (585KB) ( )
The road environment (such as signs) is an important element which affects the driver behaviour. In this paper, the study data have been obtained, the imposition of the speed limit and the presence of the police cruiser have a marked effect in reducing the number of vehicles that travel at an excessive speed. Therefore, instead of the fixed check-point,the police authorities may use the cruiser to enforce traffic regulations.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (721KB) ( )
This paper makes an analysis for the correlation of two-end deformational additions of elastic-plastic steel beam-columns when axial load is changed, establishes interaction equations of two-end deformational additions of beam-columns with additions of transverse loads and axial loads, and makes it possible for the inverse calculation segment length method to be used to calculate the ultimate strengths of frames.

    Zhou Zhixiang, Jiang Bingzhang
    1990, 9(3): 41-49.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (538KB) ( )
In this paper, taking prestress degree as a variable, partially prestressed concrete, general reinforced concrete and fully prestressed concrete are unified into an identical set of reinforced concrete. The effects of prestress degree, shear span ratio and concrete strength on the anti-cracking strength Qf of reinforced concrete beams are studied and a formula for computing Qf is put forward, based on a vast amount of test data.

Fuzzy Self-Evaluation Method for the Overall Level of Transportation Network Construction
    Yang Tao, Xu Jiqian
    1990, 9(3): 59-64.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (381KB) ( )
In order to evaluate the overall level of transportation network construction with multi-index method, the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method has been cited and modified in this paper. The Fuzzy Subjection Matrix can be set up by relative comparison between the sample data. Therefore, much surveying work can be saved, the subjective aspect can be decreased, and the reliability can be increased.

Initial Approach of the Principle and Solution of Bridge Expanded Joint Damage
    Meng Yun, Lai Ming
    1990, 9(3): 65-70.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1998KB) ( )
(Force-) Beating Area and,"Force-Transferring Area" exist on both sides of the bridge expanded joint. One of the main problems of causing the joint damage and shortening the life of the bridge is the defect and damage of the filling materials used in the areas. This paper describes,by means of finite element method, the inner-force of the "Force-Beating Area" and the "Force-Transferring Area",and points out the possibility of the replacement of the common concrete and other materials with SFRC in the two areas. And it's quite possible to prolong the life of the bridge by consolidating the expanded joints with SFRC.

Reaction Behaviour and calculation Method on Irregular simply-Supported Skew Girder
    Xia Gan
    1990, 9(3): 71-79.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (569KB) ( )
In this paper, the studies on irregular simply-supported skew girder are continued, and more formulae used for calculation reactions and internal forces under commonly occurring loading are derived. In order to understand the behaviour of the reaction of the irregular skew girders several tgpes of tgpical skew garders are discussed.Lastly, the calculation method of the simply-supported skew girder is advanced in which the redistribution of internal forces are considered, and an example is given.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (500KB) ( )
In this paper,we overcome the difficulty of the trial function exactly satisfying force boundary conditions Mn=O by reducing the order of control equations and obtain an infinite set of nonlinear algebraic equations by Galerkin's method. These algebraic equations can be truncated to obtain the solution of any desired degree of accurary by Newton-Raphson method.
