    Abstract ( )   PDF (504KB) ( )
In this paper, the negations of type FI and type Fd on the post are introduced. A negation is directly related to the fuzziness. As applications of this negation, we give the mathematical definition of fuzziness and discuss its properties. Finally, the relative concepts, measure of fuzziness, semi-Morgan algebras, the sets of type FI and type Fd are also introduced.

Transportation Tracking Theory as an Applicationof Control Theory
    Xu Maozeng
    1991, 10(3): 16-24.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (630KB) ( )
In this paper a state-space model is proposed for a transportation-road system. In the model investment, pavement distress and transportation capacity are selected as the decision variable, the state variable and the output variable, respectively. With the model and the discussions on predictions of transportation capacity and transportation demand, a transportation tracking problem is formulated and the corresponding model is given. Two sorts of algorithms of the transportation tracking model are derived and their applications are discussed. A case study is presented to show how to deal with practical details. In the end-several important problems unsolved are pointed out.

Wave Field Due to a Segmented Generator and Partially Reflecting Walls
    Qu Shiqiu, Michael Isaacson
    1991, 10(3): 74-88.
    Abstract ( )
The present paper describes a numerical method for predicting the wave field produced by a segmented wave generator undergoing specified motions in a wave basin which may contain partially reflecting sides. The approach used is based on linear diffraction theory and utilizes a point source representation of the generator segments and any reflecting walls that are present. The method involves the application of a partial reflection boundary condition which is discussed. Numerical results are presented for the wave field due to specified wave generator motions in a rectangular basin. Cases which are considered include both perfectlys aborbiag and partially reflecting beaches along the basin sides, as well as the presence of perfectly reflecting short side-walls near the generator. The method can be used to account adequately for the effects of wave diffraction and partial reflections, and to predict the generated wave field realistically.

Arrangement and Hydraulic Calculation of Filling Port on Lock Culvert
    Gu Huanda
    1991, 10(3): 95-101.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1122KB) ( )
In this paper, the arrangement and hydraulic calculation of the filling port on lock culvert behind the valve are dealt with and the effects of the filling port upon the pressure behind the valve are searched for. Furthermore, the analysis method is checked by model testing data. As shown in the result, we can raise the pressure in culvert behind the valve by filling water to this area. By contrasting the calculation with experiments, it is clear that the analysis method is reasonable for the calculation of the filling port on lock culvert.

Useful Computation of Cross-Sectional Redistributed Internal Force Produced by Concrete Shrinkage for Concrete-Filled Steel Tube Column
    Wu Bo
    1991, 10(3): 102-109.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (443KB) ( )
Nowadays the concrete-filled steel tube construction is gradually used in civil engineering. The computation theory of the concrete-filled steel tube is being researched by engineers and other scholars. This construction is the composite material construction. The shrinkage of the core concrete can produce the cross-sectional internal force redistribution. When the core concrete shrinks its creep will take place. The computation of the shrinkage internal force must include the creep of core concrete. This paper puts forward a computation method of the cross-sectional internal force of the concrete-filled steel tube construction that is produced by the core concrete shrinkage. This method meantime considers the concrete creep. The method is considerably simple and easy. The results of computation show that the redistributed internal force is considerably large. This method can be used in the cross-sectional internal force redistribution computation of concrete-filled steel tube arch bridges that is produced by the concrete shrinkage.

It is difficult to solve the problem of the mass point revolving in aa electromagnetic field. This paper works out the energy and wave function in the ground state and the first excited state when the revolving is in a weak electric field and a weak magnetic field. This method is a quantum mechanics one.
