    Mix-compaction Time of Lime Soil
    Li Yiming, Yu Jianrong
    1993, 12(2): 42-46.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (322KB) ( )
In the field of lime soil investigtion the concept of mix-compaction time and space network structure is put forward first in the paper. The decay law of effective lime dose in the mixture of lime soil was studied after the formation mechanism of lime soil strength has been discussed. A decay mathematical model is proposed according to the testing results. The calculation formulation of mix-compaction time on different designing lime in dose ibased on the model.

Mechanical Properties of Glass Fiber Reinforced Concretes For ARC-3 Type
    Jiang Jianming, Ling Tianqing
    1993, 12(2): 47-53.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (432KB) ( )
In this paper, based on the experimental studies, the effects of the ARC-3 glass fiber for the improvement of the flexural tensile and the unconfined compressive of the concrete are analysed. Further statistical relations between flexural tensile strength, volume ratio of fiber and curing time, and a mathmatical model of the flexural tensile is presented. Finally, the optimum fiber volume ratio in the concrete is presented. In this paper, a mathematical model of the volation between the flexural tensile strength and the compressive strength is given. The plastic and the cracking, coompressive elasticity modulus of the concrete is also anslysed.

Simply Creeped Calculation for Indeterminate Bar System Structures
    Li Youxing, Xiao Fangchun
    1993, 12(2): 54-57.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (222KB) ( )
In this paper, by using Noutong's and Bailei's experimental formulas and elastic anslogy method, the total complement energe function of bar system structures is obtained. Meanwhile when Lagrangians are intruduced the conditional minimax problems of the complement energe function may be changed into unconditional minimax problems of Lagrange function, and by means of which the creeped stress of indeterminate bar system structures is computed. Examples are also given to describe its applications. With clear concepts and convenient calculation, the paper has practical value.

The Approach of the Relations between the Water Destruction of Mingjiang River Navigation Water Channel and the Neotectonic field
Chen Hongkai, Bai Zipei, Li Yaxin
    1993, 12(2): 58-63.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (390KB) ( )
This paper mainly discusses some basic relations between channel water destruction and neotectonic field in Mingjiang river with the Scheidegger method and Dephel method. The results indicate that channel water destriction is a function of relations between neotectonic field and orient distribution of the channel, direction of realignment buildings in the channel. On the basis of that we provide a potential approval model of channel water destruction:P=147(kxi+kyi+kzi)-93. The model has proved reasonable after computations of some typical shoals in Mingjiang river. The total value of the channel in the model is 85. So we can conclude that Mingjiang navigation channel is likely to be easily destroyed by water.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (627KB) ( )
Yong-an hydro-power station is a key water control project, which has multipurposes both in power and navigation. This paper studies sediment movement and shape of eraded riverbed before and after the project is built. By comparing the model test with the built project, the authorities to solve different problems about sedimentproof regulation of the channel, reasonable arrangement of navigation constructions and some engineering measures about preventing sediment and inproving navigation conditions. The key project was built 5 years ago, it has been proved that these engineering measures of the project are quite successful.

The Application of Orthogonal Fitted-Body Co-ordinate Systems in Flow Computation in Rivers
    Huang Bishan
    1993, 12(2): 89-97.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (520KB) ( )
2-D orthogonal fitted-body co-ordinate systems generated by a set of Laplace Equations is employed in computation of 2-D plane flow in river. It not only can overcome the defects that retangular mesh of finite difference had a poorer adaptability to complicated shape of natural river boundary and topography, but also it is easy to form general code for computation of flow in rive. It extends a capacity of finite difference in computation of flow. The lacation of mesh generated can be controlled by us. Therefore, it is a useful method to engine ring. The method has been verified by practical data. Better results can be obtained.
