    Optimal Design Researches on Drain Hole in Drain Tunnels of Permanent Shiplocks Area of the Three Gorges Project

    The Three Gorges Project is one of the greatest hydroelectric projects in the world .Seepage and drainage in rock mass, which have important influences on stability and deformation of the permanent shiplock slopes, are the greatest research content in the course of some key techtoniques in construction of the shiplocks.In this paper , we expound drain mechanism of drain hole in drain tunnels, then point out two group advantageous design orientation for drain hole , and make a practical research on the basic model for drain hole to be designed in the slopes.

    Through the study on different vehicles' following alignment , this paper gains the mathematical model on carrying capacity under different vehicles' proportion.Based on the study of flow-speed-density relationships, we gain the ideal carrying capacity and the influence to speed caused by the mixing-rate of mixed traffic flow in addition.There arent any linear relationships among different vehicles as to the occupancy of lanespace.

    The sutdy deals with the river regulation and shipping in the rear reach of the Three Gorges Project.The report exhaustively expounds the natural stream regime, the original design schemes and the modified one. Here furnishes comprehensively the gradient of water surface, velocity, flow patterns, boat-model test, regulation measures, project quantity and so on. Based on the comparison with different schemes and analysis of test data, an optimum regulation scheme is recommended, which gives a reliable basis for regulating the reach, so that the tenthousand- ton fleet can sail up to Chongqing. It is also useful to further investigations and thorough researches on the typical torrent rapids.

    At present , the channel roughness we use after regulation almost all makes use of that before the regulating .Because flow condition and bed configuration and channel roughness vary with regulation , if roughness before regulation is still used , precision of hydraulic calculation would be affected. This paper has discussed estimating method of roughness and inferred estimating formulas of roughness after regulation of river. It is of aid to improve precision of hydraulic calculation .

In this paper, based on studies and investigations of reflective cracking of semi-rigid pavement, the idea of using high quality granular base as sandwich layer to ervent semi-rigid pavement from reflective cracking is developed .

    The paper compares the bending and the cleavage properties of semi-rigid basecourse material. Semi-rigid material is in a state of two-direction stress as it was split ted, and the practical basecourse material is in three under the traffic loads. The conclusion is given that the cleavage fitague testing method is more reasonale than the bending fitague testing method for determining the fitague properties of semi-rigid material.

    Through the analysis of the 4th power law and the present axleload conversion law popular in our country, this paper indicates their unsuitability for overload axles. By using equivalent theoretical and actual deflection restrains, a conversion method of computing axleload equivalent factors is derived, and its applicability is analysed. This method can be tentatively used for overload equivalent conversion.

    Through a large number of mortar tests in laboratory, the ZC-type admixture, which is a compound of early-strength and water reducing agent, is selected as the admixture of over-early strength cement concrete, and accordingly, the rational admix dosage is determined. The test results of cement concrete show that the bending strength in 12 hours is 3.84 MPa for fast mending concrete pavement .

    Artical analyses factors which affect concrete strength and introduce ways in producing highstrength concrete. It also compares the action of sillica fume in concrete with that of water-reducer, and concludes that potencially sillica fume has stronger influence in producing high-strength concrete than water-reducer does.

    Huaxi Lock in the Lianjiang River has been in operation for more than twenty years. The set tlements occurred in the lower head of the lock, though in different degrees, are maialy due to the failure of solution caverns under the foundation, and foundation erosion. The pressure grounting technique for the foundation of lower head, and concrete floor placing method for the chamber are used in order to increase foundation bearing capacity and impermeabicity. The methods proved to be effective.

    In this paper,through static penetration and standard penetration,we got the data of using sand compaction pile for soft soil treatment and tested the sand pile & the soil among piles of soil treatment.By analysizing statistics,we establisheol the relationships between the two testing methods and worked out the limit tatum to sure the density of sand compaction pile.We have found a quick and practical test method to use static penetration to examine the construction quality of sand compaction pile and to speed up the construction of soft soil treatment and the density examing of sand pile by supervisors.

    This paper expounds the construction methods of an octagonal double wall steel cofferdam,which is the biggest in our country at present.It contains the fabrication and launching the first segment of cofferdam and which the positioning and sinking without direction guiding ship positioning system,the construction of the greatest diameter bored piles under complex geological conditions and the bigger area sealing under water of the cofferdam bottom.

    The fuzzy changing stiffness method is used to control the unstable self-excited vibration of a centrifuge in auordance with the particularity of the vibration of a centrifuge rotor system. The result of simulation show that fuzzy changing stiffness control method can restrain the unstable self-exciled vibration in centrifuge rotor system very well.

    The real-time GPS kinematic point positioning by pseudrange observations is discussed in this paper. The mathematical models processing method and software development are investigated. The vehicle-borne measurement data are processed with the method of the kinematic single point positioning, C/A code DGPS and P code DGPS with the software are developed by the auther, and the results are analyzed with statistical method.
