With?the?development?of?the?expressway?in?China,?the?traffic?accidents?caused?by?the?tiredness?resulting?from?the?long?time?driving?are?gradually?increasing.?According?to?the?analysis?on?746?ROR?(Run-Off-Road)?traffic?accidents?from?Yu-Qian?Expressway?(from?Chongqing?to?Guizhou?Province),?Yu-Fu?Expressway?(from?Chongqing?to?Fuling)?and?Cheng-?Yu?Expressway?(from?Chongqing?to?Chengdu?)?ranging?from?2005?to?2006,?the?general?distributing?law?of?ROR?accidents?are?explored?from?five?aspects,?that?is?accident?amount,?accident?type,?accident?time,?automobile?type?and?highway?section?where?ROR?happened.?At?last,?the?necessity?and?urgency?to?implement?the?rumble?strips?on?expressway?in?large?scale?is?emphasized?;?furthermore,?some?suggestions?about?the?safety?administration?of?ROR?traffic?accidents,?the?selection?and?the?layout?of?rumble?strips?are?proposed.
