    Study on Prognostic Model and Parameter of Highway Traffic Volume

    This paper studies mainly the prognostic model which causes the growth of economy, coefficient of elasticity and the demarcate method of transfer rate in the forecast of highway traffic volume.In the prognostic model which causes the growth of economy, besides dealing with the common time and distance model, it puts forward the adoption of analogous model which is more reasonable when the shortening of the time and space distance of the project is not obvious.As to the demarcate method of transfer rate, it advances the forward and converse quadratic transfer curve and discusses the choosing of the index of the coefficient of elasticity, which provides theoretical principles for calculating the traffic flow accurately.

    Alignment is the skeldton and outline, and its continuity, smoothness, flow ability and coordination are the key to interchange aesthetics.Interchange alignment is made up of horizontal alignment, vertical alignment and space alignment.According to the characteristics of interchange alignment aesthetics, this paper summarizes the content and demand of alignment aesthetics from horizontal, vertical, and space and sets forth the design method which can meet alignment aesthetics, in order to put forward good geometry alignment for traffic.

    Damage mechanics has been a new trend of solid mechanics since the sixties and seventies.With the basic concept of damage mechanics, the fatigue process of concrete is theoretically analyzed.The concept of actual stress proportion is proposed, and the fluctuation law of the actual stress during the fatigue process is discussed.From this, the fatigue damage variable is defined, and the fatigue damage equation is obtained based on the fatigue lifetime equation of the concrete materials.Furthermore, the equation that can predicts the strength excess of the concrete materials is also obtained.

    By using the measured parameters, such as initial mixed traffic volume, axleload type, axleload distribution, etc., this paper introduces the method of evaluating the ESAL of mixed traffic during road expectancy life.Also, according to the error analysis and error transfer theory, by using the errors of the statistical measured parameters above, the synthetic error of ESAL is analyzed.The result obtained can be used for analysis of road reliability and road design.

    As to structural engineers who intend to choose the forms of structures, they must at first explore the geometrical component of systems, and then consider other factors.However, so far the normal analysis methods of geometrical component can not yet analyze all sorts of structures.The mathematical method of geometrical component analysis of member systems is proposed in this paper.This method can analyze the geometrical component of all sorts of structures, especially the complex structures.It clears away the obstacles in use of complex structures in actual engineering and expands the range that limits the development of complex structures.

    Variations of flow condition and their influences on navigation and flood control, caused by the flood embankment in Beibei reach of the Jialing river, are investigated by means of quasi-two dimensional numerical model. Changes in water surface its gradient, flow velocity in mainstream thread, and flow velocity in upbound sailing line are analysed.A reasonable and feasible project alternative are proposed.

    Based on energy equation, new scheme of dredging and training for downstream river course at Wu Jia jie power station is calculated.In case of a variety of schemes for excavated trough, the relation between increment of utilizable hydraulic head and engineering quantity of downstream river course at the power station is studied.Optimum utilizable hydraulic head and corresponded engineering quantity of downstream river course are analyzed.Evolution and stability of downstream river course are expounded as well.

    The reason for the hinder of navigation manipulating by the Manting water way of lan Chang-Mekon River is mainly because of the dammed water and flood detention effect due to the exist of san-dao-guai gorge range in the period of flood water.Based on the relationship between roughness and flow rate and the relationship between bed slope and water level.we calculated the different flowing abilities of Manting water way at various water levels.And obtained the flood detention rate of san-dao-guei gorge range at different water levels.

    In this paper, a program is composed to analyze the stability of the slope of road base by use of the Bishop's simplified method of slice.The calculation result and the process which the most dangerous sliding surface is studied are showed on drawing by means of AutoCAD and professional data processing software.The result shows that the program and the associated graphic processing are reliable and practical in road designing.
