    Abstract ( )   PDF (81KB) ( )
In accord with the characteristics of singular integrals in boundary element method for solving problems of thick plates on two-parameter foundation, all formulas for calculating singular integrals are set up by selecting the displacements and stresses which satisfy the governing differential equations in this paper, on the principle of virtual energy. Thus, the problem of calculating of high-order singular integrals in the BEM is solved successfully.

    Sun Lu, Zheng Kai
    1998, 17(4): 24-28.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (65KB) ( )
The stresses of flexible pavement surface are analyzed using multilayered media program. The data are taken as samples to regress a general formula which is expressed by basic function. In this way, engineers can get surface stress of pavement without depending on dignal computer and this formula is useful in backcalculation algorithm for falling weight deflection.

    1998, 17(4): 53-58.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (68KB) ( )
This paper presented the behavior of rotary jet grouting pile on soft ground. The field test showed that the density of soil at the pile end could be increased, and the bearing capacity of composite ground consisting of the pile and soil could also be increased. Vertical and lateral bearing capacity of the reinforced rotary jet grouting pile would be increased by 3 % or wore in comparison with that of the unreinforced rotary jet grouting pile.

The Comprehensive Analysis of the Special Property at the Tributary Junction of Mountain River
    Lan Bo
    1998, 17(4): 91-96.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (83KB) ( )
According to the collected data of mountain river confluences, some conclusions are obtained. Distributed density of the mountain river confluences is lower than that of the plain river, Incoming water and sendiment is concent rated at the freshest period, the change from the low flow to the flood flow. The ratio of tributary discharge is increased; there are river islands near the junction, and the postion of the junction is concerned to the confluent patten and the position of the tributary junction, etc. These properties are helpful for the genetic analysis and the regulation of the shoal at a tributary mouth.

An Approach of Group Decision Making with Efficiency and Equity
    Zhou Lingling, Yang Lei
    1998, 17(4): 112-117.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (58KB) ( )
There does not exist a continuous group utility function which results in decisions that obey both the Pareto optimality and equity criterin (Kirkwood, 1979). This paper presents away to build model which can solve efficiency and equity in group decision, the dissertation decomposes the group decision into internal decision and external decision. The former is decision about fairness, and the latter is decision about efficiency. The decision model enables the group to take into account equity consideration without sacrificing Pareto optimality. The individual utility function is aggregated to form a group utility function for the vector of pay offs, and this latter function is, in turn, used to generate a group utility function for the overall group payoff and a sharing rule for dividing the group payoff into individual payoffs. The resulting group decisions are Pareto optimal in utility space, and are equity in payoff space.
