Abstract: On the basis of the main studing object and the main studing contents of the science of environmental communication,we have made some general reseaches on the fractal theory in the science in the parer.The results identify that faculty-fractal is the basic feature of the communication environment system,managerial-fractal in the basic feature of themanagement of the system,and information-fractal,bine-fractal and geometric-fractal are the basic features of the appraisal of the system.

摘要： 基于环境交通学的主要研究对象和研究内容，本文对分形理论在环境交通学中的应用进行了初步探讨．研究认为，交通环境系统具有功能分形特性；交通环境管理具有管理分形特性；交通环境评价则具有信息分形、时间分形和几何分形特性．分形理论为环境交通学的研究奠定了理论基础．
