    Influences of Dredging Notch on the Behaviors of Continuous Rigid Frame Bridge

    Aimed at the problem that continuous rind frame bridge's top slab needs to be notched because of the pipeline plugging during construction,transverse prestress loss of the top slab under diferent notched depth and width is analyzed by FEM special analysis program.Besides,the influence circle of local prestress less due to the notch is discussed,and the advice that dredging notch may be the main reason for the longitudinal cracks on the box-beam slab is shown and at last the corresponding improving measure is suggested.

    The U-shaped abutment is a common structure of infrastructure.However,the cracks often appear during the pracdee. Based on the specifications and the numerical analyses of FEA,some proposals are given out about inner and outer side slope for the common U-shaped abutment.Furthermore,some measurements and design methods which could reduce the stress and deform ation,such as setting the chamfer,reinforced concrete ring beam between the fore wall and the two side walls.emplacing the pre-stressed concrete bar or reinforced concrete pull-beam between the two side walls.These measurements and methods can be reference during designing and reinforcing bridges

    Study on Efective Prestressing Forces under Anchorage of Tied-arch Bridge

    The efective prestressing forces of tied anchorage and total prestressing forces of each tie have specific require- merits of precise controlling.Traditional prestressing construction methods could not satisfy the requirements proposed by de- signer.Efective prestressing forces of tied an chorage at one tied-arch bridge have been tested by diferent checking methods in practice.The test results show that efective prestressing forces of tied anchorage produced by traditional construction method have a large bias comparing with designed values.The phenomena of gliding tendon,uneven tendon forces and total tendon forces on the small side are easily caused by traditional prestressing method.Th e normal work statement of tied-arch bridges are threatened bylackof tiedforces.The studyingresults can be used as guidelinesfor designingand constructingthe same type bridges.

    The pavement of Portland cement pouring into asphalt concrete is a new semi-flexible composition pavement strut- ture,and the new pavement possesses the characteristics of both asphalt concrete and Portland cement concrete because of the pouring of Portland cement,which impmves the performance in high temperature greatly.The Marshall test and Wheel tracking tests aIe carried on in front of and behind pouring three mother-asphalt-mixture with diferent gap rates of 20% .25% and 30% ,and the tests prove the high temperature stable perform ance of semi-flexible pavement.

    In order to analyze stress mechanics of corrugated pipe culvert on the condition of frost heaving,the mechanical property of metal corrugated pipe culvert in permafrost region is analyzed witll large-scale finite element software.And by concretely analyzing the efect of soil displacement thickness,pipe wall thickness and upper soil displacement thickness on mechanical property of pipe culvert when the two ends of culverts occurs different degrees offrost heaving,the structural style suited for corrugated pipe culvert with the diameter of 1.Om in common use is put forward.At the same time,that the metal corrugated pipe has outstanding capacity of axial supplement displacement is educed ,which can meet the demands of rather larger deformation and settlement.

    Catastrophic debris flow occurring in Philippines on February 17th,2006 is the inevitable result from coupling and changing of factors such as materials sourses ,landform and geomorphology,precipitations and earthquake.It is the mocha- nism forthe debris flow to develop that landslide breaks up under action of strong precipitation and weak earthquake,and the reason for the calamity is due to many buildings and residents living in the area of debris flow while there is not any system to foresee and forecast debris flow.In this paper.authors compare basic conditions to trigger debris flow in the area of the Three Gorges reservoir with that in region of Philippines happened on February 17 ,2006,including the materials sources,outline of valley.meteorological conditions and earthquake.Then some conclusions are obtained:in area of the Three Gorges reser. voir,classifications and reserves of materials have more quantity;strength under action of water are easier decreased;quantity of debris flow valleys is more;bad meteorological conditions are more obvious;man-made actions are more widely and the trend to cause calamity is more inevitable.In other words,there are enough conditions to triger catastrophic debris flow in area of the Three Gorges reservoir.Further,some primitative ideals to study and control the debris flow in area of the Three Go rgeservoir are approached .
