It has generally two ways for high-class highways, two-way railways, urban underground, and urban light track tunnels. In recent
years, the application of close-parallel tunnels have increased rapidly because of the need of planning and plane design, the constraint of terrain,
surface construction, hydrology, and geology, the expansion of existed transport facilities, and the improvement of land utilizing efficiency.
For the great diversity of around-rocks pressure with different construction methods, we focus our discussion on hidden-burying tunnels by
Mine method or NATM. The corresponding rock stability analysis method is introduced in this article, and its application in Light Track # 2 of
Chongqing City is also provided.
