    Failure process analysis of cement concrete pavement based on fracture mechanics and a new idea of pavement design

    By taking the hardening process of concrete surface course into consideration,this paper applies for the first time the fracture mechanics to analyses of the failure process of the contact interface between the cement concrete pavement and the base.The analysis reveals that the surface course and the base course are not contacted smoothly as idealized by the pavement theoretical model,instead,there exists a transition layer between the surface course and the base course.Failure of the transition layer contributes to the grave deterioration of the actual pavement concrete slab on the bottom face and gives rise to the formation of a wealth of surface cracks there,resulting in the actual strength of the concrete slab far below the design strength.Bearing this understanding in mind,the present paper proposes a new idea of pavement design and corresponding method of construction.

    under moving load series,and gets the closed form soulions to the dynamic response.A standard load series model was defined to represent single axis,double axes and fouraxes load series models.With the standard load model,dynamical responses of simply supported curved beam were determined.Since no self defined functions were utilized,the deduction process is unequivocal and results in a reliable result.According to these we have completed the program which can calculate the dynamic response of curved beam under moving loads.?

In modern highway engineering,because highway is wider and has the higher amount of transport,it has higher demand for the stability of highways slopes.In the paper,taking the XinShaofang landslide in the Highway from Xichang to Muli as example, applying mathematical method of calculation and analysis, the author analyse the developing tendency of the rock and land mass deformation in the course of harnessing landslide.     The authors discuss roundly source of loose earth for impact deposit debris flow to develop taking pingchuan debris flow,one of the quite typical impact deposit debris flows in southwest sichuan province,as an example in this paper. on the basis of detailed investigations in situ,geotechnial testing in Lab and theory analysis,all results indicate obviously that moderate and bulky loose earth in giant debris flow situating in southwest sichuan mountainous area are main institute,whose tribulation are consistent with landforms.Loose earth locating in mid forepart catchment are quite unstable,so often becomes main source of loose earth of debris flow.Formation of loose earth is controlled principally by geologic and geotechnical environment while human actions is the secondary factor for loose earth to form.In many times,human actions provide loose earth through loose earth stability.

    The Lingjintan ship lock is a single lift and moderate head ship lock with conveyance system of short culvert. Under normal operating conditions of the ship lock, the noise characteristics of each position in filling culvert are analyzed by the observation data in the prototype. It pointed out that under normal operating conditions of ship lock the noises in filling culvert are considered to be low frequency noises of non cavitation flow basically and in the noises there are not the high frequency components with higher energy accompanying strong cavitation.?
