Analysis for Decreasing the Rolling Resistance of Off-Road Vehicles
    Shen Shiqi
    1986, 5(2): 5-10.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (358KB) ( )
The rolling resistance of a pneumatic tire primarily depends on the deformation of the circumference between the tire and ground. There are three elements effecting the circumference: Pi, the inflation pressure of the tire; PC, the pressure due to carcass stiffness and the specific pressure q that deformable ground can support. Based on all these situations of the circumference, this paper discusses the parameters which influences the rolling resistance and points out the methods for decreasing the rolling resistance in detail.

The Soft Classifying Clustering Method to Derive the Design Annual Runoff Distribution
    Chen Shouyu, Liu Jianzhao
    1986, 5(2): 23-29.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (419KB) ( )
This paper develops the soft classifying clustering method to derive the design annual runoff distribution, and presents strict mathematical deriving process and iteration formulae, which makes the choice of the design annual runoff distribution be based on the strict mathematical model. This paper gives a new way to derive design typical annual runoff distribution. The mathematical model is also available to derive the typical hydrographs similar to annual runoff in principle.

Fring Field Effect and Beam Dynamics Property on Radial Sector Cyclotron
    Luo Shiyu, Liu Chenqun
    1986, 5(2): 35-41.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (391KB) ( )
The fring field effect and the nonlinear property of particles of radial sector cyclotrons which are four-folded symmetrical are analyzed numerically. The result shows that the fring effect of magnetic field is obvious, and the nonlinear property of beam dynamics can be neglected in the smaller radial region.

THE UNIQUENESS OF THE LIMIT CLYCLES OF PREDATOR-PREY SYSTEM(A1) WITH THE PREDATOR'S FUNCTIONALRESPONSE OBEYING THE THIRD KINDOF HOLLING CURVE
    Xiong Wiemin
    1986, 5(2): 42-50.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (443KB) ( )
In this paper,we consider the Predator-Prey system(A1) that the predator's functional response obeys the third kind of Holling Curve s=r(1-s/K)s-(as2x/(1+bs2)≡as2/(1+bs2)[f(s)-x], x=x(ms2/(1+bs2)-D0)≡(m-D0b)x/(1+bs2)(s2-β2)·(A1), f(s)=(r/as)((1-s)/K)(1+bs2), β=√D0/m-D0b, s(0)=s0>0,x(0)=x0>0,K,r,a,b,m,D0 are all positive const. We have proved that If f'(β)>0, then there is the unique limit cycles of the Predator-Prey system (A1) in s>0,x>0.

    Wang Jian
    1986, 5(2): 64-74.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (861KB) ( )
It is a complicated task for providing comfortable and pleasing trips to people and it depends on the index of technical and economic in traffic as well as the aesthetic quality. In traffic system, all elements have a common character, when subjected to the physical rule (function need), they have the capability of aesthetic expression. Based on article [1], this paper deals with the traffic aesthetic and evaluation and other questions.

Vehicle Load Analysis In The Design of Highway Bridge And Culvert
    Sheng Qiming
    1986, 5(2): 97-103.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (405KB) ( )
This paper uses the binomial stationary stochastic process to describe vehicl load (axial load) in the design of bridge and Culvert structures. By analyzing the information of vehicle load investigation, we can obtain the probability distribution in the basic design lifetime and the standard load as well.

Cross Section Design of Partially Prestressed Concrete (PPC) Highway Bridges
    Fan Shicheng
    1986, 5(2): 104-113.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (710KB) ( )
Based on the background of foreign design codes, this paper gave a brief introduction to the design of PPC structural members in the "Code of Design for Reinforced and Prestressed Concrete Highway Bridges" and at the same time, compared these codes with the foreign ones. A brief analysis and discussion on classification of prestresed concrete, on calculation of flexular strength of PPC members and on crack control was carried out. Finally, two practical cross section design methods of PPC bridge with reference to the code were proposed.
