    Mao Guohui,Wang Xiaosong,Zheng Hongfei
    2013, 32(1): 1-4.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-0696.2013.01.01
    Abstract ( )   PDF (277KB) ( )
Vehicles and bridge oscillation equations were built respectively according to d’Alembert theory and finite element theory. The displacement of the bottom contact points of tires can be got from bridge nodal displacement by applying shape function interpolation. Then the contact point force which is equivalent to bridge unit nodes force was put into the bridge vibration equation and thus overall vibration equation of vehicle-bridge coupling vibration combing both vehicles and bridge oscillation equations was formed. In addition,Newmark-β method of numerical integration was applied to solve the equations. The result shows that this method and the classic iteration method are identical.

    2013, 32(1): 5-8.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-0696.2013.01.02
    Abstract ( )   PDF (319KB) ( )
The vibration balance equation for a quarter vehicle and bridge were derived with the employment of d’Alembert principle. The bridge surface roughness was obtained by trigonometric series method. The effects of bridge surface roughness, vehicle velocity and vehicle parameters on impact coefficient were studied by numerical method. The research shows that the influence due to the bridge surface roughness is significant; impact coefficient is fluctuating with increasing vehicle velocity; reasonable vehicle parameters can decrease impact action to the bridge; natural frequency is also an important factor to impact coefficient.

Characteristics Study on Moisture Migration in Soil Slope under Rainfall
    Wen Guangju,Deng Wenjie,Liao Peiwei
    2013, 32(1): 63-67.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-0696.2013.01.15
    Abstract ( )   PDF (555KB) ( )
Based on the feature of slope failure induced by rainfall, from the point of view of moisture migration and combining unsaturated soil mechanics, the characteristics of moisture migration in slope under different rainfall intensities were analyzed by finite element method. The results reveal that under rainfall, the pore water pressure in slope is distributed in layer: the pore water pressure at the bottom is the highest, the lower at the top and the lowest at the middle. The moisture migrates mainly along in vertical and tilt direction. The migration velocity decreases from the surface to the deep, and the migration direction also changes with depth and time. The volumetric water content is nonlinear distributed and the degree of nonlinear in unsaturated area is higher than that of the saturated area. The permeability coefficient of soil rises with the increase of rainfall intensity, and when the soil is saturated, its permeability coefficient is saturate permeability coefficient.

Vehicular Ad hoc Networks ( VANET) is one kind of Ad hoc networks in which moving vehicles are communication nodes. Due to the high mobility of vehicles, the traditional Ad hoc routing technologies are not suitable for the rapid change of VANET topology. Considering the vehicles’mobility in urban environment, plus hierarchical structure is easy to manage and expand for wireless networks,a bus-based clustering routing mechanism for VANET in urban environment was proposed. It established a cluster and took the bus as the cluster head. The other vehicles were the cluster members and the optimal cluster was chosen by the velocity, and the routing protocol was operated on the basis of the clustering. Simulation experimental results indicate that the mechanism is improved in packet delivery ratio and network stability.

Vision Stability Analysis of Rear-View Mirror Based on ABAQUS
    Ge Ruhai,Gao Hongfan
    2013, 32(1): 143-146.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-0696.2013.01.33
    Abstract ( )   PDF (580KB) ( )
Traditional methods can not control the dynamic performance of rear-view mirror in the early stages. The advanced structural design work only can be done based on experience without knowing the specific dynamic performance. CAE method was used to shorten the development cycle and to reduce the development costs. In CAE analysis, the FEA model was simplified reasonably. Mirror angle method was first used in preparing for the post-processing. In the end,the experiment was done to confirm the FEA method.

    2013, 32(1): 147-151.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-0696.2013.01.34
    Abstract ( )   PDF (928KB) ( )
To study the channel conditions and trends in the Yangtze River from Fuling to Changshou since the impoundment of Three Gorges Reservoir,a large of hydrological data of water level along the reservoir area and flow data of representative hydrologic station were collected. One-dimensional flow mathematical model was used to calculate the navigation flow conditions including water depth, flow speed, slope from Fuling to Changshou under third-level characteristic flow at initial period of Three Gorges Reservoir impoundment. Flow condition changes were analyzed comparatively, and channel condition improvement was briefly introduced.

    2013, 32(1): 152-156.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-0696.2013.01.35
    Abstract ( )   PDF (887KB) ( )
Taking the artificial sand-excavation engineering of Chongqing Dashaba in Yangtze River as an example, the flow conditions of the tentative sand-excavation region were analyzed by the 2D-model on water, with the emphasis focusing on the channel and water area condition of the sand excavation. The results show that following the designed sand-excavation approaches and quantities would have no obvious unfavorable influences on the channel.

    2013, 32(1): 161-163.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1674-0696.2013.01.37
    Abstract ( )   PDF (458KB) ( )
Preliminary design of Kaixian Tianbai Hydropower Station has been finished. The hydraulic physical model was established to investigate whether reservoir discharge could meet the needs in the flood, whether the spillway tunnel produced cavitations, and the safety of buildings. Discharge capacity of spillway and negative pressure situation of lower chute section were calculated and verified through tests.
