Firstly, the error of finite difference method is discussed, and then reasonable mesh density and boundary conditions are pointed out. Secondly, compared with the limit equilibrium method, the dilatancy angle, tensile strength, Poisson's ratio and elastic modulus have some effect on the sensitivity of safety coefficients and the deformation characteristics of the slope. Results of the research show that: the dilatancy angle has the most obvious effect on the safety co efficients of slope; when tensile strength is relatively smaller, it has certa in influence; Poisson's ratio and elastic modulus have no obvious influence on safety coefficients; the dilatancy angle, Poisson's ratio and the elastic modulus are of relatively obvious influence to the slope destruction, but compared with Poisson's ratio, elastic modulus is more apparent; when tensile strength is relatively smaller, it has influence on the slope deformation.
